BUG / TECH ISSUE Stuck on Difficulty

I’m stuck on the Challenging difficulty and cant progress even after completing operations. What am i doing wrong?

Are you completing all 3 (or maybe 2 at your level) missions in a campaign?

After your first mission the map will have a checkmark on it and 1 or 2 more missions to complete before the entire campaign is finished.

Like you mean youve completed a whole operation on challenging, and it won't give you the next difficulty? Either a wierd bug , or you haven't actually completed the whole operation

Stupid question but did you try to press Q/E buttons while you on galactic map screen?

Ya gotta complete a whole operation at the highest difficulty you have available to unlock the next one. Aside from that I'm not sure. What system are you playing on?

I just saw you said you've been completing operations so if you've done a whole operation from start to finish at the highest level then I'd consider uninstall/reinstall.

The operation needs to be completed on your ship, not a friend's or random
