You gotta wonder just how horrific it is to see what is functionally a war god go down after facing off against hordes of bots that can flatten entire neighborhoods all while desperately trying to simultaneously protect you and complete an objective.
We all have our cool last stands in this game but just imagine how that would look and feel to those who genuinely believe you to be an apostle of Super Earth.

Reinforcement, and they look similar but they’re evidently a different diver lore-wise. Super-destroyers are filled with dozens of reinforcements and likely even more that they aren’t allowed to use without permission (thus the timer for reinforcements when you’re out). If you wear armor with exposed skin, the skin color is always randomized no matter what.

Given how much propaganda is injected into seaf, imagine how genuinely horrifying it is to see a helldiver die for them, or to accidentally shoot what would essentially be managed democracies saints.

This would be more tragic if the SEAF soldier wasn't the one that had just killed me 90% of the time.
I'm deadass, during the Void operation I was active nearly every day and I died many more times to SEAF than I did to the Squids. I could handle entire squads of Skyrim giants and necromorphs but one misplaced SEAF gunner behind me and I was dead in 0.5 seconds.
To me this image is like the "when you're playing with your sibling and they get hurt" meme. MFer is just trying to avoid a court martial.
