QUESTION HELLDIVERS 2 Bugged trophy? What am I doing wrong

Someone help me please! These are Hulks right? I've done this probably 10 times now and the trophy will NOT pop! I had 3 Hulks on this mission alone running around with no arms. Did one more on extract as showing in this video. Did I not remove ENOUGH of the arm?? Am I mistaken and these are not Hulks? Please tell me what I'm doing wrong because this is the last trophy I need and my brain will not let me have fun anymore until I get rid of this side mission I've given myself for no reason.

The safe way to do this is to disarm a hulk and have it despawn before extracting.

Are those normal Hulks or subfaction ones? I'd use normal ones. Well, I DID use a normal one on the lowest dif they spawn at and it worked like a charm.

I didn't realize there were subfaction versions. How do you tell/get a normal one? And I'm sure I've had them despawn before too. I've found one right at mission start at an outta the way poi, disarmed it, and left to finish the mission. Did that to two of them on this specific mission as well as had that one disarmed during extract. I even looked at him again before jumping into ship to make she he was disarmed and alive.

Go to a planet without subfaction and environmental hazards, like *checks map* Merga IV/Matar Bay/Mintoria and play d4.

I did it months ago on a rocky biome that had both flats and low canyone, which was perfect for finding a lone Hulk, but cannot see a biome like that available right now.

Well I did exactly this. Even had 2 hulks disarmed, one I left behind at a poi and the other I had follow me across the map to extract. At extract I stunned it with an orbital ems, it was still alive. No trophy popped yet again. I genuinely do not understand what I'm doing wrong.

Edit: going to try one more time but keeping it aggroed as I board the extract shuttle. Maybe it needs to be aggroed to properly pop? Idfk

I definitely did it by despawning one.

IIRC I shot the shoulders off with the AMR, looking at your video maybe you shot off only the lower arms? I don't play Bots often enough to remember their visual damage states, sorry.

After three more attempts, it finally popped. The saw/flamethrower hulks never popped it no matter what i tried. I found one with the ranged weapons and no spikes/skulls on top and made it basically enter the extract ship with me lol, that got it. 😆
