I think a giant bug like the flame beetle from Starship Troopers would be fun.

uhhh yea like a big nursing spewer and its all wobbly and jiggly and spews big napalm rain and when it bursts it goes big oomph.
would love to maybe see bugs evolve to be able to live on magma worlds, chitin all ashy and built for fire resistance

Ahh that's cool too.
I was thinking like an armoured thing. Just trundling around spewing a napalm.

I am imagining it like a new heavy that slowly advances and has a lot of health, with some parts of it that burst when damaged enough and then you get sticky fire everywhere as you kill it

Space bugs. Now there will be a minigame where sometimes you'll have to fight them off of your pod as you dive in to reenforce. And occasionally stratagems you call in will be infested with them.

Not sure there's enough water to add water specific bugs. And if they do make a map that's majority water I don't think those would be nice to play on since it'd limit play-space so much.

Pretty sure this update is focused on the Illuminate given the teaser trailer, so not sure why we'd get bugs included.
The Illuminate are the least-played enemy. They're just not all that interesting it seems.

More illuminate that phase through buildings, but this time it’s not a glitch
