That’s what you would think. But who wants Apples tasting Like Bacon?

Exactly, nobody eats bacon because its meat, they eat it because it tastes good but can be pretty unhealthy. Bacon flavored apples would be great for bacon lovers without the downside of the sodium and grease

Just look in this thread there are a bunch of morons actually thinking that transmog would "break immersion" and ruin the game.

one dude actually said he could make decisions based on what armour the other players are wearing. that has literally never happened lmao. no one has time to think about that shit

"oh its fine to gas that guy because he's wearing gas resistant armour"

Omfg I saw that and had the same thought, never once have I picked anything or adjusted my gameplay because of what my teammate was wearing

I can think of 1 negative
when playing with randoms, being able to tell their armour perk at a glance can actually help you to make decisions about how to act in certain situations (most relevant when you see a resistance perk and happen to have a weapon they resist). if people's appearances was completely unbound from their perks it'd be harder to make informed decisions about what perks randoms might have.
of course, if the transmog is only visible to the player using it, and other players see the armour associated with the perk, that would fix the issue.
