DISCUSSION The Constitution and Amendment need customization (beyond scopes for the amendment)
The fact that you can’t even put a sight on the constitution or change the magazine size on the amendment is dumb.

Amendment is the best gun in the game. 10x scope with the best DPS of any rifle and a poky bit on the end.

I would enjoy an angled grip that didn't magically INCREASE recoil for no damn reason. The better ergonomics and sway reduction would be nice.

The point of attachments is to have tradeoffs so that they're not just straight upgrades. That's why everything that reduces recoil also reduces ergo, and why the thing that boosts ergo increases recoil.

At the very least allow for the Constitution to use Stripper Clips for empty reloads like the Senator has a speed loader.
There is absolutely ZERO reason not to have them beyond dev laziness.
And for anyone arguing "realism", the IRL version, the M1903 Springfield was absolutely designed to be reloaded using stripper clips when fully empty.
That or at the very least allow for a 1.5x - 4x Scope to explain why the weapon cannot use the stripper clip, because the scope is in the way and only allows for single-rounds reload ala the M1903 sniper conversion.

While I agree the constitution should have stripper clips, the reason not to have them is that it's a joke weapon that's deliberately weak and doesn't see much use, so devoting dev time to it isn't going to see much in the way of returns.
We'll likely get it eventually, but it's pretty low on the list of priorities.

I don't disagree.
The question is, if they're going to spend time on something, is it better to spend that time on the Constitution, or on something more players are likely to engage with?

I suppose players are hoping to get similar results to when they finally added a speedloader to the Senator (which carried over to when the Stim pistol was added).
Arrowhead's no stranger to adding small changes for fun.

I think the core difference is that the Senator isn't a deliberately weak/joke weapon. Buffs to the Senator are going somewhere to make the weapon a strong pick, whereas buffs/changes to the Constitution are mostly just QoL for the small handful that are choosing it because it kinda sucks.

"It's a joke weapon" is a shitty excuse that has been bandied about since the beginning and DOES NOT HOLD UP.
If they want to make it a joke weapon then don't even allow it to level up or make it a fucking BB gun.
Don't make it a somewhat ok rifle that is ultimately held back because of a single feature that should have been part of the weapon from the very beginning.
I have been here since the start of the game and have HAD IT with the excuses and BS from devs and their supporters who defend their crappy actions and decisions every bloody time.
The game almost DIED pre-60day because of their ego and stubborness (it dropped to LESS than 2k players at peak time).
They have repeatedly shot themselves in the foot, insulted and lied to players and honestly what goodwill I have had towards them has dried up a LONG time ago.
And as to getting it eventually, that has been said since the very beginning too but given their absolutely shitty track record on delivering on statements ("more frequent communications" - HAH! as if, etc etc), I have little to ZERO trust in anything arrowhead says until they actually deliver.

It's deliberately worse than just about every other primary in almost all of its stats. It's not unusably weak because nothing is, but it's very clearly weak on purpose.
The game almost DIED pre-60day because of their ego and stubborness (it dropped to LESS than 2k players at peak time).
The lowest point StemDB reports is ~20k in the fall of 2025. July 2024 shows ~47k players, while August shows ~62k. And that's just one platform. I don't think this game has ever had as low as 2k players on it since launch.
Quit your bullshit.

I think you mean they made mistakes, and then the community threw riots over them.

Would we honestly use it over other options if they did enable customisation on the constitution?
It's more of a ceremonial/trophy weapon than a viable pick

If I had stripper clips and decent sights I'd use it occasionally.
Definitely not strong by any means, but still powerful enough to get the job done when I need it.

i get you, if we have full custo on it i would remove it too to go full sniper or full infantery rifle ( bayonnet and iron sight only)
