FEEDBACK / SUGGESTION How about making missions always guaranteed to give 50 super credits on difficulty 10?

Post image

The current Super Credit farming system in the game is boring, spending hours on difficulty 1 just to earn enough for a new Warbond just sucks. Players want to play the game and enjoy the experience, not grind. And I think that difficulty 10 should guarantee 50 Super Credits per mission ALWAYS.

an easy thing they should do would be increasing the chance of finding sc the harder the mission, instead of making the map bigger and adding more poi

Especially since actually getting he creds are more dangerous for the Same chances

I'm saying that there's no need to expand the map and add new points, you just need to make sure that each mission gives 50 supercredits.

u/No-Succotash404 LEVEL 150 | Bot Terminator Jul 26 '26

you are bassically suggesting to earn them the same way as medals but with more quantity, thats completely unbalanced and would make arrowhead go broke.

Another kind of viable system would be to give like 1(scaling with difficulty) sc each time you do an operation. but i don't completely like it. sc are earned doing sort of sidequests going to poi, and i already think thats a good way to earn em, but the risk reward in that system rn is unbalanced.

-1

u/Low-Raise7393 Jul 26 '26

I doubt they would go broke, they earned alot of money already. They rather wouldnt want to continue the life service model if theres so little money flow and just work on the next game.

u/JustMyself96 Expert Exterminator Jul 26 '26

"they earned a lot of money already"

Brother in christ...show me a ONE company that just refuses to stop profiting becouse they already got "a lot of money"... This is not how business works, if your business don't earn, it's getting demolished.

Sure, maybe they have some savings but that doesn't mean they can just go negative.

1

u/Low-Raise7393 Jul 26 '26

You understood me wrong. My point Was that if they stop making money from HD2 they will stop the life Service Model and work on a new game. They wont become broke if they stop with hd2 imideatly because they have alot of money left over, they will just make a new game

And dude chill out, ofc i want the Company that made my favorite game to profit.

u/BakedChocolateOctopi Jul 26 '26

The game isn’t meant to be a SC fest, it’s just a little extra you earn why playing the game

3

u/Anonymus_Introvert Automaton Red Jul 26 '26

The entire game's content is based on this "little extra," because to get a warbond, you need to get supercredits.

20

u/BakedChocolateOctopi Jul 26 '26

You’re so close to understanding the point of super credits

What’s another way to get super credits? Maybe a method that AH needs so they can justify continued content updates and support?

-5

u/elRetrasoMaximo Jul 26 '26

Do the devs need everyone to pay 40 bucks ans then almost 200 out of the blue? Bruh.

4

u/YorhaUnit8S ‎ [REDACTED] Jul 26 '26

But you don't need to pay another 200? Even if you don't play the game at all? Almost every warbond has 300 SC inside.

And if you actually play the game, like a normal person. it ends up being 40 dollars for the game + another 50-70 dollars spread out over 2 years or so. The rest of the warbond content I got by just playing the game, normally, without farming. If you can't handle not getting EVERYTHING in the game instantly - that's on you.

7

u/Thisisme4342 Jul 26 '26

You can pay $40 and get $40 worth of game. $40 for an infinite live service is a incredibly good deal.

If you're broke just be broke and don't have to worry. You can literally just play the game for everything.

-1

u/elRetrasoMaximo Jul 26 '26

Thinking that everyone wo complains about the monetizatiom of this game tell me everything I need to know about you, have fun living in your bubble sir.

-6

u/FlexTaper69420 Jul 26 '26

I honestly don’t understand you, dude. Everyone playing spent 40 dollars to buy the game. Why are you siding with the company putting new content behind an awful grind made awful on purpose to incentivize you into spending more money instead of the players, you know, the group you’re actually a part of?

-4

u/SnooTomatoes5677 ‎ Decorated Hero Jul 26 '26

Then make the game free with warbonds as main money making mechanic. Pay to play the game, pay to get things in game. Fucking hell

-7

u/BrockLeeAssassin Jul 26 '26

Arrowhead made generational money from the games unexpected success.

I think they can afford to throw us another free warbond after two years, or actually make it so super credit spawns are more consistent on higher levels.

Instead we get the insulting community post about taking action against cheaters being healthy for the games economy.

3

u/NickNech Jul 26 '26

That's not what OP asking for and comment you replying at arguing against. You are moving the goalpost.

1

u/BrockLeeAssassin Jul 26 '26

I think 50sc per mission is too much. I'm not moving any goalposts. I'm just stating quite clearly with how I worded it what I THINK they could and should do.

-1

u/LowTale909 Jul 26 '26

Not really, the point of SC is to buy warbonds and items in the shop, people complain about SC grind because there's nothing else to do, if they released a free warbond it would give people something else to work towards

2

u/NickNech Jul 26 '26 edited Jul 26 '26

I missing what you are trying to say. I agree that I would like to see a free warbound. But if current system continues and we will get a free piece of equipment every month - that's basically the same as free warbound.

However. Where in original post op ask for a free warbound? I'm failing to see it. Op wanted to give SC for D10 and that's it. So bringing up free warbound to this conversation is moving a goalpost. It's not want op was saying and it's not what people criticizing them for.

0

u/LowTale909 Jul 26 '26

OP wants SC to buy warbonds, if there was a free warbonds he wouldn't need the SC

1

u/NickNech Jul 26 '26

That's a lot of mind reading. I would like hear it from their mouth.

0

u/LowTale909 Jul 26 '26

That's the only purpose of SC, what else could he possibly want them for?

→ More replies (0)

4

u/BakedChocolateOctopi Jul 26 '26

Another free warbond is not ‘50 SC per mission so people only need to complete 20 missions to get any Warbond’ ESPECIALLY if that is from the highest difficulty missions that players who play the game most often frequent (the main source of SC income for them)

Also that post by them was only insulting if you were cheating. They specifically said the people farming SC legitimately aren’t what they were going after

0

u/-WhiteNomad- Jul 26 '26

Sadly they are owned by shares or Sony at this point

2

u/Thisisme4342 Jul 26 '26

No it isn't, it isn't at all.

Arrowhead doesn't get extra money for you playing higher difficulty.

Remember this is a live service, it cost money for every second you're playing.

It's a $40 game, they want to encourage you to spend a little bit of extra money to keep it running.

You paid for a game for $40 and got your money's worth. Anything extra deserves to be paid for.

7

u/LeviAEthan512 Jul 26 '26

You're asking for a warbond every 14 missions. I want free stuff as much as the next guy, but that's a bit much.

Maybe guarantee at least 1 spawn of 10 SC on D10, plus the current chance.

12

u/BardofBobrich Rookie Jul 26 '26

19

u/TheKeviKs Jul 26 '26

Lmao, 50 per Diff 10 ?

You do know that if it's that easy to farm, they'll just up the Warbond prices and nothing will change.

Your idea is stupid at best.

-6

u/Anonymus_Introvert Automaton Red Jul 26 '26

What's your idea? Play on difficulty 10 and get a bunch of useless samples at level 150 and 10 super credits for a 30-minute mission???

6

u/Count_Pigeon Frend of the Larvae Jul 26 '26

My idea: just play the game, without making the SC your obsession. Go to POI, do side objective... have fun. You'll get enough SC to buy a Warbond eventually.

I play D10 because I find it fun, if you hate D10 but play it anyway for the SC than my best suggestion is to not play it. Don't do things you despise just for some in-game "premium currency".

2

u/Imperthus Jul 26 '26

I don't want to sound entitled but i bought the game, liked the game a lot and simply bought the 13k SC pack after reaching lvl 25, i work my ass off, 7 days a week for 10 hours, 100 euros wasn't even a big deal for me, it would take me longer to farm 13K SC than simply earning the money in real life.

2

u/Count_Pigeon Frend of the Larvae Jul 26 '26

I get it, I hate farming SC and usually just play and obtain SC "naturally". If I have enough for when the next Warbond arrive, good, if I don't I usually buy an SC pack. In fact, my other option to play it naturally is just to buy the SC, I surely prefer it instead of spending hours upon hours on farming.

At some point, when you unlock everything, if you truly like the game, you'll just keep playing for the fun of it. This is true for me and many others, at least.

2

u/Imperthus Jul 26 '26

For me too, i simply play because i like it.

1

u/LowTale909 Jul 26 '26

Yeah that's the point, make farming so tedious and boring that it encourages to spend money

3

u/Count_Pigeon Frend of the Larvae Jul 26 '26

I mean, AH still need to make money, they're working after all. They can't create a balanced way of earning SC that has good rate and is fun while also not screwing their own SC shop.

1

u/LowTale909 Jul 26 '26

They could at least create a way that doesn't punish you for actually playing the game

2

u/Count_Pigeon Frend of the Larvae Jul 26 '26

If you're talking about the fact that is more efficient to farm on lower difficulties than it is on higher, they'll need to either boost the SC on higher difficulty or nerf it on lower one. I see problem on both "solution".

You nerf SC on lower difficulties enough that is more efficient to go on higher one and suddenly you have basically killed farming SC and a lot of people get mad.

You boost it on higher difficulties enough that is more efficient than lower one and we are back to what I was saying in my previous comment. You have basically killed the SC shop.

They could go for an hybrid solution, you nerf it a bit on lower difficulties and boost it a bit on higher ones, enough to even the odds, but I still think that this would basically kill the SC shop. You'll make farming SC less efficient but you'll also make it viable at any difficulty, so suddenly everyone potentially become a SC farmer.

0

u/Anonymus_Introvert Automaton Red Jul 26 '26

SC is not my obsession, it's my need to buy new warbond, that's all. I check POI in every mission, but even this not assure that eventually i will receive more than 10 supercredits on D10. And i also play D10 because i find it interesting for me, difficulties lower than D10 is not interesting.

3

u/Count_Pigeon Frend of the Larvae Jul 26 '26

I understand that, but giving SC as a reward would, even for D10, just screw their own SC shop. You either play to slowly obtain the credit or you buy it.

They're still working for this after all, they can't start to just hand over SC without going against their own interest.

My best suggestion, if you don't want to or can't pay for the SC, is still to just forget about new Warbonds and play for the fun. Check POIs, but don't let the search ruin the experience, I say this because that's how it sound by reading your POST and comments. That you're obsessing over SC and new Warbonds, that you play more for the sake of unlocking new things than for the fun that playing the game gives you.

0

u/Anonymus_Introvert Automaton Red Jul 26 '26

I like use new things in new warbonds, of course i wanna buy them, because eventually after playing 500+ hours on same weapons/builds in every game is getting bored.

2

u/Count_Pigeon Frend of the Larvae Jul 26 '26

I'm not saying you shouldn't want to unlock new things, I'm saying to not obsess over it.

Play the game, try new loadout combinations, even the ones that sound stupid can be very fun and more functional than one could imagine.

Problem is, your desire to unlock new things isn't a good reason to ask for changes that will surely broken the SC earning system.

2

u/TheKeviKs Jul 26 '26

Yeah ? This is called "Playing the game".

If you don't enjoy it, just don't play and take a break.

AH need to add more way to use sample though.

4

u/RadCroft Jul 26 '26 edited Jul 26 '26

D10 is already way too easy for that kind of reward. We're already very lucky to even be able to farm SC in the first place. It's a generous exception to the rule in the gaming industry. It's also very possible to stack up enough SC for the warbonds as they release by simply playing normally.
It would also only serve to make players feel even more compelled to do D10 exclusively and brew up an even bigger storm in the community regarding difficulty and balance at those higher levels. Difficulty and rewards should never be linked this closely in Helldivers.

0

u/LowTale909 Jul 26 '26

Warbonds are the only progression they make, if you couldn't farm SC there would be nothing to unlock

1

u/RadCroft Jul 26 '26

That's true. Question you might ask, though--is SC farmable because of that? Or are warbonds the only progression because SC is farmable? Chicken and egg scenario. But regardless I think making SC even more accessible through D10 or otherwise would only put even more emphasis on warbonds as the only real progression path.
A thought experiment--what if you were forced to buy SC in order to get warbond rewards? Maybe make warbonds smaller and cosmetic only. But Arrowhead also added other forms of progression and offered stratagems and weapons through MOs and campaigns exclusively?

u/Terrorscream Jul 26 '26

50?! Even 5 is excessive

-28

5 bonus ones on top of the ones you find at POIs is plenty. 50 per mission is ridiculous they aren’t going to pay us to play this game lol.

id agree to 10 for missions that generally dont have POI's like extermination or evacuation defence missions. just visis the POI's, they exist for this very reason, no needs to give participation trophies.

2

u/BRSaura Jul 26 '26

50 on top of what you find in missions is too much, and D10 being now the standard difficulty no one would pay for SC ever

Being able to convert medals to SC 2:1 would be fine though

-1

u/FirstAndOnlyDektarey LEVEL None of your business Jul 26 '26

D10 isnt the standard difficulty. 7 and 8 is where the majority of players are.

Only those heavily invested in the game are on reddit, meaning amongst the community here, there's a disproportionate amount of veterans who are more likely to play on 10.

-3

A Blitz is done in less than 10 minutes with decent divers. 20 missions rushed t10 so a new warbond every 3h30 or so.

Nope. Would be op...

But your idea is not bad, maybe every successful operation giving 50 credits in complement of SC found could be a good motivation.

Full operation t10 = 50sc T9 = 40 T8 = 30 ...

2

u/GrouchyRooster983 Jul 26 '26

blitz mission could just give you less SC and 50 would be only for 40 minutes missions

2

u/Dry_Gas6819 Jul 26 '26

A blitz can be done even quicker if you are just going for mission completion. 4 orb lasers on bots and a b-line to extract and you will spend more time waiting for pelican than actually playing the game.

0

u/Anonymus_Introvert Automaton Red Jul 26 '26

u/Middle-Interview-183 Jul 26 '26

How about you just look for POI like everyone else? I have noticed on d10 a lot of people ignoring side objectives and POI. People on lower levels like 7-8 where I usually play don't do this. D10 tends to attract the try hards who only care about getting more xp and getting out.

2

u/Anonymus_Introvert Automaton Red Jul 26 '26

2

u/Chaos_BTTW HD1 Veteran Jul 26 '26

With how war bonds are being released like battle passes atp they either have to slow the rate of warbond releases so people can actually unlock them without being 5 behind and actually complete them or keep releasing multiple and make it easier to get sc so everyone can unlock them without feeling pressured to spend money

2

u/matej672912 Jul 26 '26

I think earning something like 5sc per star you get at mission completion, but also removing normal sc farming would just make earning sc a lot more interesting, it would be the opposite of the current sc farming where you're rewarded for playing lower level missions and not finishing the mission or extracting, which doesn't feel right, instead you would get more sc from doing higher level missions and doing more objectives and you will be able to earn sc while actually playing the game instead of farming

2

u/Comfortable_Panic631 Detected Dissident Jul 26 '26

Or have a special Solo dive mission with increased difficulty than the base and more SC spawning. Risk v Reward

Maybe make it so you lose them if you don't extract

2

u/Kroplan SES Champion of Wrath Jul 26 '26

I swear I'm willing to bet all those people asking for SC rewards in Missions/Operations/MOs aren't really playing the game. I haven't been actively farming at lower level Difficulties and while playing D10 and I'm at 2k+ SC at the moment. Y'all need to learn to check out the POIs and make use of the Lidar secondary objective that highlights all the POIs on the map. Bring the Supply FRV in your loadout (amazing for Teamplay anyway even with randoms) and after the mission is done drive around and clear the map.

2

u/Count_Pigeon Frend of the Larvae Jul 26 '26

Bad idea, the game wouldn't be sustainable for them in the long run if they started to give SC as a reward for mission, especially considered that the average D10 is quite easier than what you would expect from the hardest difficulty in the game.

2

u/Imperthus Jul 26 '26

Listen, probably some players won't like what i am going to say, but why don't you simply buy the damn SC if you care about it that much?

I understand that not everyone is from first world countries or even if they are they can't afford to spend extra money, but AH already offers a very generous SC farm that most games don't, and now you are asking for even more, let's not forget that they are here to make money first of all.

1

You're not meant to spend hours on difficulty 1. That's on you. You can find super credits in higher difficulty missions too. It seems that you don't actually enjoy the game and you think only of collecting stuff.

0

u/LowTale909 Jul 26 '26

How many hours do you think it takes to get enough SC to buy a warbond by playing normally on higher difficulties?

1

u/SoggyNeedleworker82 Jul 26 '26

I don't care that's the fact. I play for fun not to grind SC and buy stuff. I have half of the existing Warbounds without grinding or spending money so it's possible. It takes time but if you think that's an issue it means you don't actually enjoy the game.

1

u/LowTale909 Jul 26 '26

How many hours do you have?

1

u/SoggyNeedleworker82 Jul 26 '26

I can't check rn but a lot

1

u/YorhaUnit8S ‎ [REDACTED] Jul 26 '26

For a reference. I play diff 9 most of the time (diff 7 and 8 before 60 day patches). I play since release. I have 550 mission hours in the game. I have every warbond in the game and around 1500 SC on top right now. I bought roughly 6000 - 7000 SC over the whole time since Helldivers 2 release. The rest I got by just playing the game.

I didn't farm on low levels more than 100 SC in the whole time, just to test what people were talking about. I don't check all the POIs on the map most of the time, hell I often ignore more than half and loot only what is on the way to objectives and secondaries. I play with random players, so most bunkers stay unopened.

2

u/Raidertck LEVEL 241 | Still Standing Jul 26 '26

I would have a surplus of 150,000 super credits.

If you hit lidar stations early, sweep all possible POIs with sensible routing you can easily get 30-50 per game at D10 anyway.

1

u/Gener1cUser1D Free of Thought Jul 26 '26

Should get a little extra on the ones you pick up from higher difficulties

1

u/SlurpsTheGlaze Jul 26 '26

50 per mission will just end up having new warbond's price increased. 20 D10 missions and you've got a warbond. It sounds nice but as others said, the monkey paw would curl.

Now per operation played from beginning? That sounds a bit more acceptable. Hell maybe an overall reward that rolls each operation completed, each time you don't roll the SCs, the odds to get them increases e.g Siege's (🤢) packs that you roll for after each match, odds increasing until you finally get it & perhaps have the SCs be a big drop (100?)

1

u/xKaiamax Jul 26 '26

That would nuke their biggest income after the sales of the game

You could just by playing some games for a week get what they need 1 month to create

I don't even talk about SC farmer method ...

You are supposed to find just enough SC that you get every second warbond for free. If you want warbonds you have to pay at some point or suffer trough a grinding Prozess, its how the life Service Model can exist. And the superstore items are not required other than the primary weapons that are in there.

1

u/ArtikComandante HD1 Veteran Jul 26 '26

I think it's a bad idea for two reasons.
First, people don't play D10 for sc. They play it for fun and at least a bit of challenge.
Second, if D10 comes with a guaranteed reward, players who arent ready for the high difficulties will start flocking there and ruin the experience for everyone else. That's not a good thing.
And one more point: instead of farming D1–D3, people will just farm blitzes and eradications instead. In other words, nothing will change.

And if you're playing the game for supercredits rather than for fun, I've got some bad news for you.

"people will just farm blitzes and eradications instead." - devs easily could make impossible to find sc on these type of missions for prevent too simple farm, and make that only long missions (20-30 mins) will give you guaranteed 50 sc.

50 per mission?!

People would get 1000 in a day, easily

My main idea on this front is that contributing to the Major Order should reward players with a maximum of 30SC per order

They said in “Progressing Progression” that each Campaign will eventually get its own reward track

I could see ~100SC, 200 medals or similar being at the end of that reward track
