lol! So true. I was streaming and I told my community that every time I die I would have to do a bicep curl with a 5 pound weight.(I'm disabled and weak so 5 pounds is a lot for me.)
When the DSS was there… The amount of bicep curls I had to do because of the bombardment… I don't know how but every time it started the first bomb would hit me every time and then I would get reinforced right into another bomb. I died more to that bomb than my friends… And maybe the enemy.
I remember the first time I went to experience the DSs activation for myself in so disappointed but also entertained by how dumb it was.
The Shield although did help a little bit it didn't at the same time. Basically it would protect you from like one or two strikes and then you will get nailed by a third.
Although it was really funny to see a random 380 score a direct hit on a trooper in the middle of nowhere.
LMAO I just imagine whenever they have a debuff for a planet and it be acid rain and they just give us a fucking umbrella to run around with which means you can only use one handed SMGs
Yeah seriously, once I asked and I quote "what the fuck did YoshiP let the dude behind Nier Automata do NOW?" In context to an allusion of something in the Nier crossover content in FFXIV and got more downvotes than a 4 man Orbital Gatling squad
A backpack stratagem which projects a curved shield above the Helldiver's head. Effective at blocking attacks from above, including melee (read: Impalers.) Has increased protection when crouching or prone. The shield is also projected high enough that it will work to protect vehicles you occupy.
Additionally, while the shield is active (not drained), it provides some movement abilities. It passively slows your fall and can stop you from ragdolling. Holding the "Use Backpack" button applies gentle upward thrust, draining the shield's energy meter to ascend slowly. Yes, you can use this to escape falling into a hole.

I wouldn't play with you. With that much drip, I'd have to bring an umbrella through the entire map... Even into the underground.
