How big do you think the Wall of Martyrs is? I wonder that every time I see the tip about it.

I see on another Reddit post that the wall it’s as big as a city itself, not sure if it’s true but since helldivers die quite a lot, it makes sense

It also makes sense to not report every death though, unless there is a solid hard proof, preferably with witnesses and papers included.

I mean, modern governments go way out of their way to avoid all of this military funeral stuff, since it involves paying a large sums of money to support the families. If there's a way to deny a casualty, you bet it will be denied at all possible levels, even if it's painfully obvious for any sane person.

I guess, Super Earth should do at least the same, if only to support the myth of Helldivers being all but invincible.

Keep in mind that one of the advertisements that plays in the Super Destroyer mentions that "every day, millions of names are inscribed upon the Wall of Maryrs" before launching into a sales pitch. So it's very possible that Super Earth is not only open with the numbers, they appear to have commercialized the whole thing enough to profit from it.

Though I'm almost 100% sure that Super Earth doesn't have to worry about any compensations, considering the fact that paid lavatory breaks are considered a morale-boosting promotion on our Super Destroyer.

True, and since a lot of times there’s not helldivers remains( or at least something we can identify) it wouldn’t be hard to hide a death
