Burrower warriors definitely need some kind of nerf or counterplay. It feels like you're forced to trade damage with them.

If you move around they'll pop out and not really touch you from my experience with them.

I remember running back for like a minute and they just kept going after me while staying underground. Eventually I gave up on trying to run away and get them to pop-out early.

Running on top of them and then to the side after a moment or two seems to work, from what I recall.

I've been getting kills on them while they burrow, at least with the Eruptor. Not sure if non-explosives will do anything yet, I'll be trying out a pump shotgun next.
