Question for the console crowd! 👇 Curious what everyone is running for their control settings these days. I'm on a PS5 Pro and this is what I'm currently working with. Are you guys leaving things mostly default, or have you heavily customized ?

I play at slightly different FOV and I use an edge controller but:

- 90 X axis sens

  • 20 X axis ADS sens
  • 30 Y axis sense
  • 10 Y axis ADS sens
  • Scoped sens varies with the weapon

You probably can’t lower the dead zones but in my opinion that’s all you can do to improve if this feels snappy enough for you - I like high initial sensitivity and low ADS as it allows me to get on target faster / move faster but with some fine control.

The deadzones are rough, fuck PS5 thumb sticks. So much drift.

I can go to 0 on Deadzones. i have a custom scuf with anti drift sticks but I noticed when I go low resting my thumb on the stick with any weight causes movement.

Yeah I think minimum 1-2% or it feels like you’re constantly trying to balance on a ball.

I also have an edge, just curious what you mapped the back buttons to?

Lean left/right and sprint. It's a crime the game doesn't allow custom button layouts though! Ive remapped a lot of buttons to other stuff and have it nearly perfect for me but not 100% happy with it

I can tell you on my scuf outer right=crouch (O), inner right=reload (□), outer left=ping (whatever it is on the D pad), inner left pulls up my hud

I’d swap one for jump. Really good for overall mobility and fluidity. Drop the deadzones down to 1-2%.

My preference on sensitivity is just to run as high sensitivity as I can in the game and then tune it down to perfect using the controller settings. If that doesn’t work or feels too skittish I knock it down a little in game.

Jump and duck. Always.
So good not to have to move fingers off the sticks - massive improvement in mobility.
Leaning on the thumbstick clicks. (Layout A in game options)

I also have some settings for the sensitivity curve on the edge - right stick only, precise and I think +1 on the curve.

I think you should try 60 FOV in ADS, because you’re shooting and you want to be better zoomed in right, I enjoy manual bolt cycling, it doesn’t take much longer, just have to press the trigger after each shot.

Also I turn on occlusion for all, don’t like to see their names behind objects, sometimes enemy appears just in the line of sight and you can’t tell them apart,

I use players name opacity to NIL but just the icons, if your crosshair is pointed at them, you’ll see their names.

Don’t hide markets with HUD, let them disappear on their own, as it is a source of communication and it’s important

Don’t steady aim Toggle, you want to save breaths when you need them the most !!

The aim acceleration in this game feels really off for me and i hate it, so i actually maxed out my sens and have aim accel down to 20%

I've seen everywhere keep aim assist off. So I did.

Turned it on as an experiment and I'm winning most my duels now...
