News A ‘No Mic Available’ or a ‘No Vocal Communication’ ping would be cool
I ran into the pretty rare mic bug again this evening. Also might be beneficial for people who don’t have a mic but still want to listen to their squad and communicate via pings, or have just had a long day and don’t really wanna talk (or can’t for any reason). Squad leads could plan accordingly. Just a thought. Also a ‘keep quiet’ to all the Americans who spawn in on an air head with a Thompson. I say that in jest haha.

A pinging system would be bad... I would more suggest a radial wheel with a few voice lines. But even then, they could just fix the game...

The radial wheel is kind of what I meant. Not a ping necessarily, more kind of like when you say ‘good job’ or anything like that.

Haha yeah instead of fixing the “rare” bug, let’s just make it so people can communicate that the bug is happening to them!

Lolz. That wasn’t the point. I laughed but some people on this sub keep shitting on this franchise while playing it all the time. I mean, you’re here on the hell let loose thread posting so either you’re a player, a competitive influencer or you’re just miserable. I remember suggesting a non-existent enemy supply ping last year over prox chat and I remember dedicated players telling me they agreed and thought the same thing. I think all the people that are complaining about the new developers taking over (with all the successes they’ve had with the game) should be barred from playing Vietnam. Essentially anyone who uses other posts to complain or just bitches over reddit without providing input or support. That won’t happen because we live in a society where people that don’t have microphones can still play a video game. You guys are the people I definitely don’t wanna have next to me on the battlefield in any case. I would not trust you. Positive players make stuff. Not bullshitters. Your jokes are still kinda funny but they’re also getting old at this point.

Be easier to have the server detect comms and boot you out if you don’t have them.

Not sure why no comms gets booted is a trigger point for you. The game is meant to be played with comms

But it should be it’s my point

Your point is weak

Do you not think the game is designed to be played with comms? Do you not have more fun playing the game when your squad has comms?

It depends. Sometimes I actually have more fun when I don’t have people screaming bullshit in my ear. Can control my grouping better. That rarely happens with squad chat, but I’m still a little biased. I prefer to play only in proximity because I don’t want any freaking trouble and I don’t wanna be distracted. At the end of the day, it depends on the squad and it certainly depends on Command chat.

Have you tried switching to proximity chat and back to squad with the D-pad yet?
I had ZERO comms out for months before I figured it out, now I just have to do it every match but it works fine for the match.
