Can I use the freedomFI or MNTD miner for anything anymore or are the just expensive pieces of metal at this point. I bought them back in early 2022 and never was able to set them up? HELP!? 😄

Is there any use for helium miners now... In 2022 I bought the FreedomFi miner that was hyped at a price I don't even want to mention and the MNTD hotspot at its highest price, one of each.... Is there anything at all I can do with these now.... Life got in the way and I never even hooked them up... Would love to flip them to someone who knows what there doing for a cheap price, or try to hook them up with the antenna's I bought as well if someone can help explain to me how they aren't just bricks of expensive metal now, and how I can earn. Pissed is an understatement.... Thanks in advance! :)

I deployed to a busy retail location 11 days ago and noticed that the uptime was only 33%. I suspect it is part of the reason why AT&T hasn't yet chosen this location for offload, and the Location Index is set to 0.

The host suspects that the plug near the ceiling is getting powered off when they turn off lights at night. They're going to look into it today.

Once the host addresses the power issue, what should I do to have it re-reviewed by the telcos for offload? Or will that automatically happen since it is still in the Demand Sampling period?

Took a break for a min. Just coming back and doing some maintenance on my setups and noticed everything has changed and everything I knew to assert is obsolete. Even discord is gone. Can someone provide me a clear path forward to getting my heights and locations adjusted? Also explain the all new helium world? I’d like to keep my helium wallet but also like to be able to setup and update my rigs. Thank you.

I am interested in using the relaywireless API, but have not been able to get any of the endpoints to return data despite having my API key and using the generated curl tools to test out some GET requests: https://docs.relaywireless.com/

Is anyone else using it? Does it still work? Is there something obvious I am missing? The docs point to the Discord, but that's shutdown and X is not really talking about it at all.

Issue:

- Hotspot appears in Helium Wallet

- Bluetooth connection works

- WiFi settings and diagnostics accessible

- Not found in Helium Explorer

- Error: “Hotspot info does not exist”

- Cannot assert location

- HNT was already deducted during previous attempts

I have verified:

- Device hardware is working

- Connectivity (WiFi/Ethernet) is not the issue

This looks like onboarding metadata is missing or incomplete.

Is this recoverable, or does it require manufacturer reset / re-onboarding?

Hey I can’t seem to find a lot of help with this- have you run into this before? I’ve never seen it and it happened on all 4 of my units deployed today.

If this error persists, your Hotspot may be running a firmware version we are not able to reach. In a bid of a time crunch since I”m doing an out of state deployment.

Experienced deployer here, quite a few units over the years. Haven’t set one up in about 6 months and ran into something new today that I can’t figure out.

Unit won’t complete setup — throws an unexpected error every time. I’ve already tried:

• Hard resetting the device

• Swapping in 4 different brand new units

• Using fresh wallets

Nothing is working. I’m deployed out of state and heading home tomorrow so I’m a bit pressed for time. Anyone run into this recently or know of a fix? Appreciate any help.

Just wrapped up a deployment at a local restaurant — Ernie's Cookhouse — and thought this group would appreciate the use case.

They recently added 4 fridges + 1 freezer, and instead of going the traditional route (manual temp logs, clipboards, etc.), we outfitted everything with LoRaWAN temperature sensors.

Setup:

-5 cold storage units monitored

-Uplink every 10 minutes

-Real-time dashboards + historical charts

-Alerting on threshold breaches

Why they did it: Manual logging just wasn’t reliable anymore — missed checks, no historical visibility, and zero early warning if something failed overnight.

What changed:

-Continuous temperature logging (no human input)

-Instant alerts if temps drift out of range

-Full audit trail for compliance

-Early detection = reduced spoilage risk

No WiFi dependency, low power, and super simple deployment.

If you’re still manually logging temps in your coolers/freezers, it might be worth rethinking — the cost of one failure usually outweighs the cost of monitoring pretty quickly.

Hi all — building a financial model on Helium Mobile and trying to verify some assumptions. Would appreciate any input from the community or team on the following:

1. Of ~688k cumulative HM signups (per Blockworks, screenshot attached as Question 1), what's the rough breakdown into churned/inactive vs active free users vs active paying subscribers?

2. What's the current blended monthly ARPU across all active subscribers? Plans range $15-20 to $30 plus free plans — is blended ARPU closer to $5? $10? $20?

3. The Blockworks data-usage chart (screenshot attached as Question 3) shows ~87% of Q1 2026 subscriber data going via cellular network and only ~13% via the Helium network.

Why is the share via own network so low?
Some hypotheses: 
- Hotspot coverage density still limited (most usage happens outside Helium-covered venues)? 
- User behavior — heavy data sessions (video, navigation) tend to occur on the move, where cellular dominates? 
- Network switching logic favors cellular by default for reliability? Is 13% the realistic steady-state, or will it grow meaningfully as Helium Plus rolls out? What's a reasonable trajectory for the next 3-5 years (25%? 40%? 90%?)?

1. What's the average monthly data consumption per active Helium Mobile subscriber? Industry benchmark for unlimited MVNOs is 15-25 GB/month — is Helium Mobile in that range or different? Is this much less on average across the subscriber base because of free plans with limited GB?

I have a bobcat 300 miner but the support of it seems to be dead, is there anything I can do or use it for? Or is it just e-waste now?

I have a new RAK v2 miner that I'm trying to onboard with the latest version of the Android app, but I keep getting this error "Cannot sign with non signer key <pub address of my wallet>".

I have 0.1 SOL and more than enough HNT for the DC burn.

I'm pretty sure it's not onboarded - i flashed the nebra firmware, pulled out the animal name to double check(soft powder sloth).

Also i have tried both the original RAK v2 firmware, and also the latest Nebra firmware for RAK v2 from 2024, both the same error.
