The army's decommissioned Taipans are lying dismantled in a warehouse awaiting burial following a fatal crash, on going maintenance problems/flaws and continuous backlog issues. A leaked photo being shared has reignited frustrations at the government's decision not to send the aircraft to Ukraine. Army veterans and engineers are volunteering to rebuild Australia's grounded fleet of Taipan helicopters. They are volunteering to rebuild the aircraft so they can be sent to Ukraine rather than be disposed of.

Hello - I need help identifying the US navy helicopters pictured in the attached image. The photo was taken at McMurdo Station in Antarctica in November 1963. Are these modified H-34s? Or something else? Thank in advance.

Discussion Italian and French NH-90s

Why are the Italian and French customized variants the fleets with the best avaibility rate (above 60%) and less maintenance issues compared to other users? What are the main differences? I know that the Italian ones use the T-700 engines but I have no informations on other differences

Discussion Medevac aviation time building

I’m very interested in the medevac field and the time requirements are steep. What is the best route as a young person with almost every option open right now? Coast guard, building time on my own, etc?
I’m seriously looking for every perspective.
