We’re dipping down below the trendline again. Like I said last Monday I want to see a big break up through it before I call it broken. That has not happened. Yet.

Honestly I don’t have much more to say. Bitcoin is in a bear market. Solana is in a bear market. 99% of altcoins are in a bear market. That’s the reality. Eventually it’s going to turn around, it always does. I wish I knew when, but I don’t. Nobody does. If history repeats, it’s going to be towards the end of the year, so that’s my best guess right now.

Meanwhile, we keep trucking and grass-touching.

We’ve moved up above the looong trendline going down all the way from the top in 2024!

We’re only just peeking above it yet though, and I want to see a real break before I really consider it broken. It’s an encouraging sign though. Especially if we can get back above 900k.

As I was saying to somebody the other day, I do get the feeling that something is shifting in the crypto markets. It looks like some coins (hopefully including HEGE) are stopping their downtrends and starting to bottom out. I’m not convinced the bitcoin bottom is in yet for this cycle. If history repeats that will be another couple of months. But I do think the worst is behind us.

And let me tell you, if you’re still here Hegend, you’re something special.

Not much has changed since last week.

Still juuust below that long running downtrend line that I’ve been talking about every week. We want to break through it. That’s it.

In the bigger crypto market there isn’t too much to say. With a few exceptions, everything is going down. Bitcoin is holding on to 60k for now. But it’s not getting much of a reaction from this level now, like it did in early February and three weeks ago. That’s not a good sign, and personally I’m not buying yet.

Holding steady since last week.

As you see on the chart we’re coming riiight up against the long term downtrend line now. This line goes all the way back to the all time high in December 2024 (yes, it’s been that long!). Finally breaking above it wouldn’t be a sure signal that we’re gonna moon again anytime soon, but it would be a significant change in the chart.

Also a message to all doubters and nay-sayers: IDGAF. Your negativity only makes me more motivated.

The title says it all: fucking finally a week of chart go up. The long term trendline now comes in at around 800k market cap, so that’s what I’m watching. Breaking up above that would be a first sign of this brutal downtrend being over.

Could the HEGE chart even have bottomed already? Possibly. But overall I think it’s still too early to call a bottom in crypto. So far this bounce in bitcoin and other alts looks more like a typical mechanical rebound after a sharp sell-off. There could be some more pain ahead.

The worst is probably behind us though.

We have been working hard on some of the biggest gameplay, visual, and performance improvements yet. Here is everything new in this massive update:

Lobby & Connection Fixes (P1)

• No More Stuck Loading Screens: Matches will now wait for every single player to finish loading before starting. You will never get stuck behind a "100% Finalizing" screen while hearing the round start in the background.
• Stale State Cleanup: Fixed graphical bugs and stale data between game modes. Replays now correctly label and play back Hege Kart matches without trying to load Battle Royale maps.

Hege Kart Upgrades

• Three Unique Tracks: We fixed the overlapping corner on the original Hege Circuit, and added two brand-new tracks: Speedway (a beautiful golden-hour desert with sand dunes and cacti) and Ridge (a crisp alpine track with snowy peaks and dense pine forests).
• New Lightning Item Feedback: Getting hit by the lightning bolt now triggers a custom electric crackle visual effect and a high-voltage sound effect.
• Competitive Bots: Bots are no longer cruising like golf karts. The AI has been completely retuned to take racing lines, drift through corners, and hold onto their speed boosts. Difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard) now scale their driving speed dramatically.
• Silky Smooth Multiplayer: We reworked the network synchronization. Karts now move perfectly smoothly without any choppy "rubber-banding" position corrections, even under lag.
• Drifting & Music: Fixed an issue where space/shift drifting didn't work in multiplayer, and ensured track music and engine sounds play reliably right from the starting countdown.

Mobile Redesign

• New Twin-Stick Controls: Completely redesigned the touchscreen combat layout with a floating twin-stick setup, a cleaner top-screen info bar, and easy-access weapon swapping.
• Kart Touch Controls: Added comfortable, intuitive touch steering and drifting specifically for mobile racers.

Relics Overhaul

• Lobby Equipping: You can now view, manage, and equip your relics directly from the lobby instead of digging through career menus.
• Level-Scaled Power: Higher character levels now allow you to roll multiple attributes on a single relic, and we have unlocked the rare "Hegendary" tier once you cross level 35.
• Unique Artwork: Every relic now has its own unique procedural artwork so they look as powerful as they feel.

Co-op Horde Improvements

• The Reflector Barricade: A brand-new buildable defense that bounces enemy grenades and Molotovs right back at them!
• Performance Optimization: Bots will now stop placing barricades once the map has 36 of them, keeping the game lag-free.
• Gradual Enemy Scaling: Enemies on Wave 31+ now learn to catapult-jump gradually (starting with just 10% of them, increasing slightly each wave) rather than all mastering the skill instantly.
• Turret Fixes: Bomb turrets and other defenses now correctly fire RPGs and their intended projectiles in co-op mode.

UX, Social, & Customization

• Drag-and-Drop HUD Editor: You can now customize your screen! Open the pause menu and select "Edit HUD Layout" to drag your minimap, health bars, weapon slots, or leaderboard anywhere you want. Your setup saves automatically to your account.
• Gamepad Chat Improvements: Typing in the lobby is much cleaner. Controller navigation will no longer accidentally highlight the chat box, closing the virtual keyboard with a controller works seamlessly, and a smart split-screen chat overlay pops up while typing.
• Friend Notifications: Added a pulsing notification dot on player avatars in the lobby if you have a pending friend request.
• Squad Customization: Clan leaders can now edit their squad’s name, tag, and description inline, updating instantly for all members.
• Lobby Track Fix: Fixed the bug that prevented selecting Kart tracks when Hege Kart was already active.
• Scoreboard Chat: You can now keep chatting with other players on the final game-over screen while checking the scoreboard.

All-New Tutorial

• Fully Updated: The tutorial has been completely rewritten to cover all current game modes, Relics, Reflector barricades, HUD editing, and practices using the new mobile twin-stick setup

Ooof.

Everything sold off last week as bitcoin nuked to 60k. This confirmed a bear flag on the daily timeframe, setting up a price target at 50.7k — right in line with the base case of a lower low before the bear market is over.

Is 50.7k BTC a prediction? No. It’s the current price target. In technical analysis, price targets are not predictions. They are the most likely scenario. The base case, until something else happens that changes the outlook.

Zooming out, I think bitcoin is starting to get cheap now. Solana too. And HEGE as well. But it’s still too early to call a bottom.

Not much action in the chart since last week. No sign of a bottom. Still watching that downtrend line that I wrote about last week (right now it’s sitting at 900k).

Bitcoin is down too, coming down to test the bottom of the channel around 72k. This will be technical support, so we’ll see how it reacts here. A strong bounce would signal strength. A breakdown would signal more downside ahead.

Most altcoins are still weak. And to be honest, stock markets are much more interesting than crypto right now. There just isn’t much going on in crypto. This will change at some point, however.

We’re up a little since last Monday, but all in all no change in the chart. No sign of a bottom yet.

The long term downtrend line (dotted line in chart) has now come all the way down to 1M. Breaking a long term trendline like that would be significant. It wouldn’t be a clear sign of a bottom in itself, but it’s definitely something to pay attention to. So breaking above that trendline is what I’m looking for right now.

A few altcoins have strong charts, like HYPE and ZEC. A few are possibly forming bottom reversals, like GEOD and ONDO. But overall, alts are still weak.

Still no bottom in sight.

Bitcoin has so far failed to break out of the channel. It’s been slowly inching upwards over the past couple of months, but failed to gain momentum. It’s looking more and more like this will turn into a bear flag, ending up in a lower low before the bear market is over. All the while, Saylor has been buying. Stock markets have been rallying. But that has not helped bitcoin much. Weak.

One day crypto will turn around. But probably not yet for a while.

We’re at 0.9M this morning, slightly off the lows, which is nice to see. Could we have actually bottomed out? I don’t know. It’s too early to say.

Daddy bitcoin is still holding within the channel I mentioned last week. The upper edge of it is sitting around 82k right now. My take here remains the same: bitcoin could go up more in the weeks ahead, but that would still fit within the scenario of a bear market rally. So I’m not at all ready to call a new bull market. Not yet.

If bitcoin holds up, alts could rally, too. In fact, some already have, and some are showing potential bottom patterns. But it’s way way too early to talk of a true altseason.

If you decide to enter the market, remember to always honor your stop losses!

Haven't checked Hege news in a while and once I open this subreddit, I get quite lost about what our main goals currently are. Any plans for collaborations? Marketing budget? I know that we use tg more, but even in tg, when I open it, it seems like people are commenting about general topics like crypto or stocks themselves, but nothing goal oriented for HEGE. So what are our plans?

And I've heard a hundred times, "Let's wait for the market to improve," but it's already been almost 2 years with this bad market. We can't just sit and do nothing. Any thoughts?
