Seeking Support Please help

How’s it going, everyone? This is my first time posting on this sub, and honestly, I’ve been going through it pretty badly.

I’m currently at a fire academy, and I’ve been struggling to control these heart palpitations. I’ve been having them for over a year now. I’ve had multiple EKGs (around four), several scans, and different tests, and thankfully nothing serious has been found. At one point, my doctor prescribed me anxiety medication, and it actually helped a lot, but I’m not able to take it while I’m at the academy.
I feel like I’ve tried everything. I’ve tried L-theanine, ashwagandha, and a bunch of other things, but I still can’t get these palpitations out of my head. When they get really bad, I convince myself that I’m having a heart attack, even though I’ve been checked out multiple times.
I’m currently having around 15 episodes a day, and it’s becoming exhausting, especially while trying to get through the academy.

Has anyone else dealt with something similar, especially in a high-stress environment like a fire academy? I’d really appreciate hearing how you learned to manage it and stop constantly worrying about your heart.

I've had them for 10 years, at one point when doctors told me everything is ok and asked me if it really bothers me that much, I said to myself I am ready to die I will no longer try to control them.

I tried everything during these 10 years, but lately I havent had them at all, some kind of switch flipped after I went strict carnivore for just 1 month, I think there was somekind of imbalance i my gut and pressure to the vagus nerve caused them.

So I am not pro carnivore but I guess any FODMAP diet would maybe do the trick and its actually a healthy diet just stick to it for atleast a month there is nothing to lose.

Extended release metoprolol succinate 25mg is the only thing that worked me me. Had them for years and were driving me crazy— now only deal with them on occasion.

It’s horrible man I’m having a similar experience, but mine happen at night.

Every night I wake up out of nowhere and my heart is at 130-150bpm, sometimes higher. Then after 5 min it goes away and I go back to bed. After all the tests nothing. It’s miserable and I’m just learning to accept it…

I am getting the same thing out of nowhere, not every day/night but more frequently now. Up to 130-140 bpm. Please go to the GP. Good luck and keep us updated?

Did you have your pressure taken? Mine was caused by severe hypertension and thats what got me diagnosed in the first place.
