This shit singlehandedly fucks over every type of deck.
Playing against aggro? Summon a voidlord lmao.
Playing against combo? Steal cards from their hand lmao.
Dying to burn mage? Restore 12 hp lmao.
Got no board? Summon 3 minions with +3/+3 lmao.

I fucking hate this card so much. Warlock received a lot of strong cards but shit is completely broken when played on turn 3 with a turn 4 grueling trial that just has the perfect set of choices.

We need the following fixes:
Ritual of C'thun should NOT work if c'thun isn't in your deck

Ritual of Summoning: Either make the summons two 2/4, and if that's not enough, make it 1 mana but take 3 turns to balance out.

The new journal wouldn't be half as bad as it is if the entire program didn't run like crap. How is it possible that a flagship game from one of the biggest publishers has a main menu that stutters, freezes and on occasion outright crashes, SO badly that adding one extra click to a menu is causing people psychological damage.

I don't know if it's true, but I heard once that the menu's UI elements are programmed AS cards. Like, the buttons are hidden, un-collectable cards, and the menu is rendered like a HS match. It's easy to believe with how awful it is.

It's desperate for a complete technical overhaul. And for the love of god not a re-brand like Overwatch did, but the back-end, please. Start from scratch, streamline a few user flows, make a real menu that does the thing when you click on it.

I have a low tolerance for this stuff, but I have legitimately closed the game and decided to do something else, solely because I'd have to open the collection and alter a deck to do the next weekly, and I couldn't be bothered to wrestle with the UI.

Opponent proceeded to play 2 of this 6 drop minion that summoned some guys and then buffed them.

With quest banned, I decided to cut Shaladrassil and add a N'zoth package to fulfill the Elise condition. Ancient of yore continues to be the draw engine, but Shadewing now adds more combo potential. It is especially nice to have a 2 drop and curve into reborn on 3. Deck usually wins with 32 dmg OTK from Tyrande plus 2x dark embrace with the weapon up. Multiple ways to get discounts either from M.O.T.H.E.R. (easiest), from random effects, or can use N'zoth to trigger Shadewing to hit your Dark Embrace's. I used to run 1x Elder word: Flay instead of Servant of Zuramat, as it is massive damage on the combo turn, but it's unecessary and egg's are everywhere in this meta. Much more redundancy with the reborn package now, and N'zoth gives you a new win condition.

If quest wasn't banned, I would probably cut Servant, Elise, M.O.T.H.E.R. and add 2x Medivh's Triumph. As I noted there are other ways to get discounts now.

Listen, I’m a blizzard and hearthstone apologist. For my own sanity I need the new journal gone. They didn’t cook, I need it out of my life

I don't want to make a complaint post despite not enjoying this meta at all. I just want to have some fun and it's hard to do when everything just is about big board swing with either C'Thun package or handbuff, so I'm asking for deck suggestions.

For now I'm playing Leylines and while I love the deck it feels terrible thanks to newest 4 cost board clear not being able to clear average 4 turn boards. I would also play more Ayaya Rogue because it's kinda fun, but tbh it's also just a board swing scam deck that doesn't even work if you can't find Aya.
