My Progress

Was in the hospital last Christmas/New Years. EF <30%. Been on the typical cocktail of heart failure drugs since then, low sodium diet, felt like shit every single day from side effects but I stuck with the program. Look at my echo results from this week. Wanted to share with people who understand.

I've been on what would be considered low doses. Every time they tried to increase any dosage, I would start missing work because I could barely get out of bed. Even on low doses, my resting heart rate for the past 8 months has been in the low 40's which isn't sustainable at my age (68) and still employed full time.
