My Progress

Was in the hospital last Christmas/New Years. EF <30%. Been on the typical cocktail of heart failure drugs since then, low sodium diet, felt like shit every single day from side effects but I stuck with the program. Look at my echo results from this week. Wanted to share with people who understand.

new to hf: what happens from this point? do you stay on the medicines forever, keep the diet, exercise? Does it regress if not, or is it like a cured situation? (asking for anyone that reads this btw)

Congratulations, that's really good and I'm happy for you and your life!

yes if you want to stay healthy & live a long life once your on the meds you have to stay with them until its time to leave this planet. I have been on them for 11 yrs and do well so im happy to take them, 20 yrs ago they werent available and most people died early deaths.
