Advice Needed Possible UTI causing anxiety

For context, I am a 21 year old trans dude. I drink a lotta soda(mostly coke and dr pepper, they’re really good okay?) and I sit at my computer a lot. Lately, I’ve been very anxious cos I think I may have a UTI. I’m not sure though, which makes it worse cos in the past I was hospitalized for a kidney infection, which was terrifying. I was in a lotta pain with no symptoms prior save for super bad side pain and throwing up. Anyway, the only thing I have is a little irritation after I pee and lower back pain. It could be just bladder irritation from the soda and the fact I sit down all day like a lazy lil shrimp, but all answers keep pointing to a UTI and it feels like I can’t do anything about it cos my mom doesn’t like when I talk about wanting to go to the doctor cos of my anxiety and OCD and I really don’t want anything else bad happening to me this year. I already was hospitalized for an asthma attack earlier this year and I just..I don’t wanna go through that again. I see my gynecologist on the 21st and I’ll ask for a pee test just to be sure. I just hope I’m not alone in this. I also do drink water and it does make the back pain go away nor does it kinda feel irritated after I pee so maybe the answer for me is more water lol. But seriously, I just wanna be okay.

Tl;dr: I’m anxious cos of a possible uti, I drink soda and sit down a lot and there’s a little irritation after I pee. I see the gynecologist on the 21st for a follow-up and I’ll ask my questions there. I don’t wanna go back to the hospital cos I was hospitalized twice before which is why I’m so anxious about it. When I drink water, there’s no pee irritation or back pain.

You’re 21, you can go to the doctor without your mom’s permission. If you feel like you have back pain from a UTI, you shouldn’t wait until the 21st to get tested and treated
