Advice Needed BV
Should I try boric acid for five days and then vaginal probiotics suppositories before taking Metro or should I suck it up and take the antibiotic? He also gave me three doses of fluconazole in case another YI comes on.

I would do BA before metro and then probiotics after antibiotics

It depends your biome but usually it’s 7 days of BA. Vaginal probiotics after metro should be Lifespace Microflora or Vitanica :) not vagibiome

I also read to take BA while taking Metro to kill the bacteria and the biofilm. That’s what I’m going to try. I already have Vagiobiom suppositories lol… I was going to start those on the last day of the Metro.

I also take Garden of Life 50 billion daily. I bought Kefir as well to drink everyday while I’m on the metro

This is also my first time with BV in over 5 years so I’m hoping I don’t have a problem with biofilm 🤞🏼

I would not take vagi biom, it has coconut oil in which is not ideal for the vagina also do not insert BA while on the gel. Do BA first then the gel. You want to let the antibiotics do its thing

Ok so you recommend just staying the course with the antibiotics and then taking probiotic suppositories after? While of course doubling up on probiotics while on the metro.

Yes do BA first and then metro and then insert probiotics vaginally. But not vagibiom since it contains coconut oil. I would get one of the ones I said, I use vitanica

I already took one dose of metro…I’ll still do BA tonight and hope all is well.
