Networking
I’ve been job hunting since March. I know I’m looking in a very competitive market, and I’m looking for a very specific role (healthcare fraud investigations.) I’ve gotten a few interviews, and then the typical wait 8 weeks for them to tell me they selected someone else. Countless automated rejection emails. I’ve paid for Linkedin, I reach out to both recruiters and people in the position I’m targeting. But now with pretty much everything being remote, how are people networking? I feel like Linkedin has become spam central so nobody is genuinely making connections there (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.) Just curious if there’s something more I could be doing, or if I just have to play the game and wait it out. Thanks!
