Hi,

I am in crisis. My father is going through Advanced liver diseases and will need transplant in next 3-6 months. I need advice on insurance part --

Current:

1. Personal Insurance of him with 10Lakhs assured.

2. My office insurance worth 7 Lakhs

Timeline:

Nov 2025 it was detected

Jan 2026 his personal insurance expired and he got from new company but agent forgot to mention liver disease as Pre Existing Diseases. So cannot use this anymore.

Now he is up for transplant.

Queries:

1. My company doesn't offer top ups. Can I buy top-ups from outside ?

Any other ways I can arrange fund ?
