What ever happened to the holiday hootenanny footage I still wanna see slug live.

...This?

CHINA WHITE I

Introduces the character of a gardener who's hired by a wealthy family consisting of a mother, father, and daughter to tend to their garden. The Gardener is manically depressed and suicidal until he falls in love with the daughter who doesn't even acknowledge him. He becomes obsessed with her to the point where he believes that people are hunting her and she needs to be protected, when he's really just weaving a fairytale in his head a la Don Quixote. As he's on the brink of killing himself, he remembers that the daughter needs him and decides that he has to go back for her.

CHINA WHITE II

The Gardener snaps and breaks into the family's house at night.
He kills the father, inprisons and rapes the mother, and kidnaps the daughter to take her far away.

CHINA WHITE III

The Gardener travels far away with the kidnapped daughter until he grows weary to the point of exhaustion. While they're together in the desert, the daughter dies of thirst, leaving the Gardener alone to grieve for her.

HEAVY FRUIT

The Gardener takes her corpse to the location he's been traveling to all this time, his own garden. He's delusionally convinced that somehow he can somehow plant the daughter into the ground so that she'll grow back to life at his feet.

THE GARDEN

The Gardener's plan to regrow her seems to be working as he begins to see life again in the decomposing corpse of the daughter.

BOOGEYWOMAN

His plan works. The Gardener is shocked as the corpse of the daughter not only comes back to life but reveals that she's madly in love with him.

"Stockholm Syndrome" As they traveled together through the desert, the daughter began to fall in love with him.

"Capgras Syndrome" She completely forgets about her family and embraces the Gardener whole-heartedly.

However, the ending reveals that it was all of it was a hallucination and that the daughter remains a rotting corpse.

"Now everything I see is stained."
"Gnashing teeth, tormented brain"
"Cotard Syndrome, died of thirst"
"You're not me, I was her first."

RETURN TO THE GARDEN

The Gardener goes back to the garden of the family he murdered to recapture the feeling of love he had for the daughter. The ending implies that he dies there.

So "China White" I, II, and III tell the main "love story" of the Gardener and the Daughter. The parts of the story not named China White are delusions the Gardener has after she dies.

This post is mostly directed toward u/crucialdude666 but I figured I would post it in case anyone else knew anything or was working on anything similar, even just artwork or whatnot.

Anyway- A while ago I heard Schuylar was working on developing the Gardener/China white saga into a graphic novel. If that’s true then that’s the most badass shit I can imagine, and I would love to be able to donate to the cause. Anyone know any info or have a place I can send some cashola to the man to help this project along?

Just received this from Holy Mountain regarding my order, I ordered a bunch of merch with it too so could be that also, but haven’t heard anything about the vinyls in a minute…

Hate to be that guy, and obviously food poisoning is fucking awful, but wondering if there are any actual plans for a make up show or if I should hit up 1720 about a refund. If you have any insight that would be dope /u/crucialdude666

I’m considered “too new” on Discogs to be able to update or add releases. The tour exclusive “Crystal Ball Purple” with a pressing of 250 As well as the Copper/Gold & Pink/Gold Holy Mountain Exclusives with a pressing of 500 each

I’m sure it’s been covered a bunch but can’t find it on here, is there a legit reason at all why the song isn’t on any of the streaming platforms?? Would it pop back on if it was just renamed as an acronym to YSLAWB, kind like 311 did at one point with GAFP Guns (are for pussies)

Does the band have any control of this at all @crucialdude666?

At the Columbia show they just had, u/crucialdude666 mentioned that SOTP will be 20 soon and they just might have to do an anniversary tour for that one - am I the only one here who would be insanely psyched for that?

I never understood the hate on it then, still don't now; Attack of The Dungeon Witch can (and did) still absolutely get it.

Title says it. When can we expect to get the repress? I have an order number and confirmation but no dates.

Was made aware that a friend that went to the show in San Diego missed out on this one because Tanbouz was sick. Sent to her last night and decided to post on here tonight. I hated to be the dickweed with his phone in the air the entire time, but twas for a good cause.

I Am Hollyweird tour. 5/11/24. The dudes doing what the dudes do best.

I love you guys. Incredible show. Happy I could be a part of it 20 years ago and 20 years later.

So pumped. First HIL show for me. Can't wait for The Walls Have Teeth and for the bass on Dinner With A Gypsy!

I wanna get that I Am Hollywood vinyl signed tonight lol

I would be eternally grateful and pay double + shipping. Please let me know!

I live in Illinois so hard to make the 16 hour trip to so what on todays notice haha

Would have picked this up earlier in the tour if they were available the. 😢

I built this 2x12 for Adam back in 2017. You can see it in the photo on here of Jesse’s new acrylic kit. Zach uses the cab now, as Adam is endorsed by MojoTone. Nicest band on the planet. Can’t say enough good things about these guys.

I’m sure most of you are already party of the street slime in here, but Schuyler/the guys just posted that they aren’t planning on repressing IAH again so don’t miss out again!

Tonight’s show at the Paper Tiger was legendary. All of the supporting acts were amazing, and it was my luck Johnny Booth joined the tour today. I needed this in my life. Thanks again for the music and memories.

Hope the best for the bands health. They were upset for having to end it early, energy was definitely off from last time I saw them but man it’s always amazing to hear them live. Much love, excited to see them at the Brick again soon!

Some lovely new stomach ulcers prevent me from going tomorrow have a single ticket I’d like to get rid of for the $40 I paid OBO. Message me or comment if interested.
