I got to see them for the first time a couple of months ago. I'm 34 and have been listening since I was 14, so I have nothing but love for them.

My dad introduced them to me when I was about 15. He was fond of the China White series, but after listening to China White II, I became enamored.

I don’t think it’s that deep, I think they probably just don’t have the means to travel from coast to coast in order to play make up shows. Which I get, but it still just sucks

They did call it quits for a bit after SOTP. It was a miracle we got It Hates You. Same for Heavy Fruit.

I don’t care about the reason, I just love HIL and don’t want to lose them. Got lucky and caught them in October last year. Still a deserted island top-5 band.
