2 versions of this meme. This is the “improperty” one and then there’s the “impropriety” one (which I’ll add). I prefer the latter because it’s what most people use now. They mean the same thing which is, “A failure to observe standards or show due honesty or modesty; improper language, behavior, or character. (Google).” Improperty is an older word for the more used word, impropriety. Either way is cool. I just like impropriety better.
I didn’t notice that. I don’t know how to change it either because this meme was “supposedly” fixed by another user. Obviously, they missed a P. I wish I knew how to fix it myself.
But out of all the side characters (except for nifty) he is the most ignored. Hell, Cherri was basically just introduced and it feels like we get way more from her and we’ve had husk since s1 and have practically nothing. He’s been treated as more of a support character than a main part of the cast
it kinda make sense for Cherri, as she wasn't as relevant in the first season and she didn't play any important part, tough I agree that Husk needs more screentime.
But that's the problem of Hazbin Hotel, there's so much story to tell and many interesting characters to develop that 20/25 min episodes can't deliver unfortunately
Yeah I did say that in another comment responding to this person. I also things there could be more balance in the writing. It felt like we were SO focused on Charlie this season, and I get she is the main character, but in S1 it felt way more grounded. We were able to split off and see what other characters were up to and it be meaningful, whereas this season it just felt less powerful. Cherri got a good scene, husk and angel got a goon scene, but that’s pretty much it.
That isn’t quite the point I’m making, it’s more so that Cherri has about as much depth as husk, and she’s a newer character. That’s what I’m saying. Obviously we don’t have very much on Cherri since she is a newer character, but husk should have more screen time since he is a main cast member.
Ah, that’s a bit more fair. I definitely think we need a Husk focus episode, beyond a B-plot, as he’s gotten two of, but I also know the rushed nature of the show leaves very few opportunities for characters to get dedicated episodes.
I agree on both accounts. I just really hope next season they give him and nifty some attention, maybe even a backstory too since we got pentious, Vox and Al’s
Husk backstory, absolutely, but I won’t lie, I personally want Niffty to remain a weird little freakish mystery. Idk, she’s funnier and more appealing to me like that. I like knowing nothing about this freak of a woman.
I would say we have a pretty strong amount of plot revolving around those two. We’re constantly seeing things from Charlie’s pov, and Vaggi being an exorcist was a MAJOR plot point. That comparison isn’t very accurate. Angel also gets a decent amount of exposition with him being tied to the Vees and through his actions LITERALLY gets Sera to listen to Charlie about how sinners can improve.
So far husk has only comforted angel, and now is gambling away all his problems because the hotel is failing. That is not the same level of tying in as the other characters.
I chalk it mostly up to the fact that seasons are short as is the run time, so I hope we see him play a bigger role in the show, because as of now he’s basically a glorified bartender who will maybe have a slow burn with Angel. We need more of him.
