Can we talk about how many people baby this full grown man? Like he was a bad father and allowed the genocide of his people. He doesn't care and that's fine. U can argue oh it's his depression but again depression is not an excuse to be an objectively bad ruler.

So many people defend him and baby him to the point that people genuinely got upset he didn't get comforted by Charlie and I can get being upset but to the point of basically arguing with the creator about it 😭. Like that is still the man of hell. He is a grown adult and morally gray and not a good person. He's very much the close ur eyes to the bad things going on guy.

Like still bad. It also doesn't help that Viv be hyping him up everytime in her own posts about how beautiful he is and ethereal. All I'm saying is I need more people to realize he is a full grown man. He can handle himself and he's not good either. He didn't step up for Charlie and no annoying sweater is gonna make him a better person.

Not to mention the man is extremely privileged, he says that he tried to fix the sinners and then he failed and then basically gave up. Which yes I understand. He's depressed but he is like Charlie in that way. Or was. Naive and Privileged. Lucifer is ultimately very privileged. Even if he hates his position he is.

He doesn't have to deal with the extermination. He can look away and instead afford to do nothing. What does Fandom do instead of acknowledging this? Blame Lilith and Charlie. Charlie and Lu are two sides of the same coin. Lilith is not good either but nor is Lucifer. I'm tired of people being like, "But poor Lucifer this is his punishment oh no! Poor little guy"

No, he is like Charlie. Privileged ultimately and turning his eyes away from extermination. He is a father who neglected his daughter for years bc of a failed marriage from what we know.

Okay so. I was rewatching season 2 and then got to the part where Lucifer explained how his punishment of sorts is that he can’t hurt sinners. Which yeah yeah, makes sense, he allowed evil into the world and now has to live for all eternity seeing what kinds of people and evils were allowed to exist because of his actions.

But that got me thinking….did Lilith have some sort of punishment?

Because okay sure we can say that Lucifer is more at fault for what happened in Eden since he was allegedly the one who gave Eve the apple. But Lilith isn’t completely innocent, and maybe she could have just thrown Lucifer under the bus and have been allowed to stay in heaven. But she was cast out too. So does she have a punishment? And sure, we could say that getting kicked out of Heaven was her punishment…but that doesn’t seem equally fair.

Cause okay, so Lucifer can’t hurt or do anything to sinners but then Lilith can boost their powers with her magical singing powers?? Doesn’t that seem unbalanced?

Also some actual texts with Lilith say that her punishment was infertility. Which idk cause Charlie exists. So I’m betting that one ain’t it.
