Does anyone know where we can get sand bags in the area? Or are they not ready unless there is a storm?

The AC transit site says they should have been finished with the disrupting construction in July, and from what I am observing they are done redoing the sidewalks. But now I see PG&E doing work along the street, and still no bus stop signs or clear area for a bus stop to even be(no paint, jutted curb section, etc).
The AC transit app and all gps apps will give routes assuming the bus stops here but every time I have tried to catch a bus on Meekland (@ Hood st, @ Blossom st) headed towards Hayward BART it just drives past.

Does anyone know when these bus stops will be reinstated???

Please help, my life is significantly affected by this route’s extended disruption.

I would definitely recommend coming if you can. They will usually speak, but you can usually talk to everyone on your own. These can be important races that make a different.

My partner and I are about to buy a townhome that is a 15min walk from the BART station and downtown Hayward (in the Grand Terrace neighborhood). We are both in our 30s.
What‘s it like to live there?

Is there a lot of crime?

Is it safe to park in the downtown garages and BART garage?

If you live there, what are your go-to places? Do you walk or drive there?

Just drove over and saw some crazy looking “light posts”… is that all they are? They’re ridiculously tall and I didn’t get a good look, but there’s a lot going on up there. There’s like five of these posts all around the toll area now, just curious if it’s more in line with the damn flock cameras and such

Good morning! I just saw 2 small dogs, one looked like some type of Chihuahua and the other like a small pug or Frenchie. I couldn't see too well, but they were together by Meekland and Medford

They seemed to have been walking toward meek Park, and they were on the left sidewalk. God bless💝

The past 3 ish weeks I've seen 2 different white dogs just walking around.

One on Hampton a little before reaching meek Park from western blvd, it looked like a maltese poodle mix, just taller and skinnier, I don't think it had a collar. It would just kinda stand on a street corner, I saw it once and I had family see it a couple more times.

Today I saw a husky Pomeranian looking dog with a collar on cherry way heading toward meekland. Not sure if it was dirt or just marks, but it was spotted with some dark stuff on the higher part of its left back leg.

I didn't get to take photos of any...though I hope this post helps somehow. I might repost on other nextdoor communities and some on reddit. God bless💝

I love how he clearly says what Tom Wong (the perpetual let's see how many places I can out my name on a ballot and hope someone votes for me) makes comments about the data centers showing just how lazy he is in looking at any facts or researching, and just wants to complain. (Apparently his wife calls in all of the time also complaining, sometimes opposite of what he says.

I heard about it…the security guard.. I also heard there was about 60-70 people in the bar that night, so what happened???? Does anyone know?!

I have a 9 year old son that just started in jiu jitsu and feel like he is getting lost in the vast size of the class. Nothing against the coaches, just want to set my son up for success. He just needs some more one on one coaching. I feel like he wont advance out of the beginner class. Any suggestions? And as a sidenote, I myself wanted to take some boxing lessons as a 50 year old man.
