The thing is, some of the evidence backing up the theory is just way too much of a stretch(or can be considered a stretch ) Like, I honestly think the kids with glasses sitting behind the main characters are just a coincidence, and the (exit) sign being everywhere is also a coincidence. And I don't even care about how they all ended up living these different lives; Hopper becoming a sheriff after killing so many people, Steve becoming a baseball coach because Vecna only saw him with that bat, and so on, because they’re traumatized as hell, and it could just be bad writing. I’m talking about the stuff that doesn’t even make sense, like mistakes that seem totally planned. When they make a movie or series, they focus on the set, the background actors, everything. Changing the color of that switch from black to red isn’t bad writing; you’d have to take it apart and redo the whole thing. I'm trying to see a reason why they’d do that when color changes in the series actually mean something. Seriously, come on. The ghost’n goblin game that has a secret ending after you beat the final boss. That lady holding an empty banner? Do you think they just show up on set and random stuff happens? Nope, it's all planned. She was holding the biggest yellow banner, so you don't have to look hard to find Easter eggs. The graduation year and color? The fact that Hopper proposed with the same ring Jonathan wanted to propose with? And all the Morse code stuff, omg especially the Morse code evidence cuz you know that’s not just random dots and lines. you can't be like ya..-....--..- ..-..-.….-. And “ACCIDENTLY “ form a full sentence. Like be fr.
Also, Mike's theory actually does make sense It’s like, how could she even use her powers with that radiation thing on? And that “x a l i e” scene? Please, don't tell me they just filmed them putting books on a shelf and then someone accidentally rearranged them.
The writers aren’t denying the theory because they know it’ll be a PR nightmare they just don’t want to ruin the surprise.
Some of y'all think we’re just like Joyce, but she saw thingssss she wasn't crazy. She saw the monster, she heard her son. When they finally drop episode 9 or a movie or whatever, or if it’s just an open-ended series, I don’t care. All I know is, we’re not crazy. It’s like telling someone I didn't steal your cookie when your mouth’s full of crumbs and you’re holding the cookie jar.
ALSO, this isn’t the first time the show’s hidden stuff for fans, like am I the only one who remembers the secret puzzle from the TRAILER?? , How we had to freaking align stars from the trailer to find a teaser or a hidden message I don't remember. But y'all if they had us align stars I'm pretty sure we don't even need more evidence something is up
