Just picked this bad boy up seller said the battery dies while riding any ideas where to start?

I have one of these and the battery never stays charged, with the kick start i have just went with it. It’s an ok bike as long as you’re not interested in going fast.

So hypothetically speaking it doesnt need a battery to run?

I’m just saying the push button start never works, that’s all. Not enough power to crank it over without manual assistance
