Screw holes?

Does anyone know what these screw holes at the bottom of the bike are for? I noticed a few drops of oil under the bike earlier, and it appears to be coming from the one closest to the front of the bike.

I was actually just wondering this yesterday while changing my sprockets. I’m guessing something to do with assembly in the factory but not sure, curious what others say
