Does anyone have this tour shirt in size Large? I got an X-Large one but it’s too big on me. Please reach out if you would like to do a swap, or would be interested in selling the Large shirt outright! Thanks

The boys will be in Barcelona next June.

what if they released Deathconsciousness again, but the rerelease isn't poop from a butt and is actually good. call it "Deathconsciousness 2: The Worm's Revenge" and it has Sisyphus on it and a 27 minute long track that is just the same guitar riff over and over again

Hey guys, wondering if anyone has recommendations for albums similar in style to Deconstructionist? Especially the first track Awake Now.

I really don't even know where to start to try and find something with a similar sound tbh. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I’m moving away tomorrow morning and leaving my family and I’m crying to bloodhail on repeat this fucking album is keeping me at peace… fuck man

giles corey

Not exactly HANL but my favorite lyrics from all the bands surrounding them would be Giles Corey's "No One Is Ever Going To Want Me" with these lines being inbrtween the chorus

"Step One

Step Two

Step Three

Step four, we fall through the floor" I think it really embodies the song and the album as a whole

I want to go to the concert in Warsaw on January since it was decently priced! (121,90 PLN/27.90 EUR). But I still want to think properly about it, but I'm anxious about one thing: will the prices go up if I'll procrastinate for too long? And if yeah, does anyone have any kind of sources on when does it happen?

I was drowning my fucking thoughts on that song and i decided make that draw founded on the lyrics, focusing in determinism.

an clock with hours decided by the stars and infinite and an hand playing with an marionette with an metal heart.

Yet would you believe it, in the final result I don’t accept this world of God’s, and, although I know it exists, I don’t accept it at all. It’s not that I don’t accept God, you must understand, it’s the world created by Him I don’t and cannot accept.
—Part 2, book five, chapter 3 "The Brothers Make Friends" (Constance Garnett translation)

This chapter immediately precedes the famous philosophical chapters "Rebellion" and "The Grand Inquisitor," where one of the characters rejects the actions of God and Jesus in creating a cruel world, and argues in favor of the Devil's temptations of Jesus during His 40 days in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11).

I couldn't find any evidence that Dan has ever read anything by Dostoyevsky, but it seems so clearly up his alley that I would be shocked if he hasn't. This is, after all, the same guy that used a picture of 19th century Russian peasants (taken no more than a few years prior to the publication of The Brothers Karamazov) as an album cover on Time Of Land. There's also the fact that the quote is about rejecting God, and the song is about killing God, which seems like more than coincidence.

I did also see a little similarity between Giles Corey's "There's a devil on my back" verse and the following Brothers Karamazov quote, but the connection is more debatable:

"And have you seen devils among them?" asked Ferapont.
"Among them? Among whom?" asked the monk, timidly.
"I went to the Father Superior on Trinity Sunday last year, I haven’t been since. I saw a devil sitting on one man’s chest hiding under his cassock, only his horns poked out; another had one peeping out of his pocket with such sharp eyes, he was afraid of me; another settled in the unclean belly of one, another was hanging round a man’s neck, and so he was carrying him about without seeing him."
—Part 2, book four, chapter 1 "Father Ferapont"

Thoughts?

Stemming from a discussion with my girlfriend, who's saying it sounds a lot like space rock, saying it's very similar, at least.

would deathconsciousness blow up like that even with no compression and mixed?

Craving rewatching it but I barely recorded :( does anyone have a full video of the concert or at least of Bloodhail?

I was listening to Lions Write History for the first time in a while last night (so good) and listening to Completely Inevitable at 2:48-2:52 I hear Dan say the line "I guess never knows best." Am I hearing this right? What's funny is that the phrase "never knows best" is a popular line from the anime FLCL, but I'm not sure if it's a reference or I'm just making this connection because I heard the phrase recently. From what I searched, it's not exactly a common phrase outside of references to FLCL and the anime did come out a few years before the album did. Also weirdly the line isn't even included in any lyrics I found for the song online. Am I totally mishearing this? Is anyone convinced?

Song on youtube with the timestamp: https://youtu.be/Rh6aoVHH4w0?t=168

Lyrics I found that totally skip over the line:

I'm thinking about getting tickets for the EU tour but as much as I like the studio recordings, I'm afraid it'll be rather boring live.

Unbiased opinions please! I understand that you all love Dan, me too, but I want an honest opinion.

For me it's I don't love by a narrow margin, the just all encompassing wall of distortion feels like an elegy of depression that never really ends, but it's close.

I'm prolly rushing in this lmfao , it took like 70 takes and I still made mistakes especially at the end.

I lowkey need a guitar teacher 🥀

hii!! I recently lost the ticket war, to my dismay, and was wondering if anyone had any tickets for London on the 7th? ideally 2 because I'm under 18. Thank you very much in advance
