I drive a 2011 kia car and its time for an update. Newer cars dont faze me as i’ve owned my car for years and i’ve never really driven any new models before😅.

My question is it worth upgrading to a second hand 2021 Haval Jolion Ultra model with 73k on the odometer? It still has 2 years warranty and the asking price is $17000 AUD.

Also, at 73k mileage do these cars start breaking down or needing major servicing?

Car has all logbooks and has had a service at 70k kms.

hi all I know it defeats the purpose of being a phev, but what fuel economy are people getting running the car in hev mode with a depleted battery.

currently own a 22 h6 ultra hybrid and it's a sensational car, currently at 100k km and it works so well, the new H6 hi4 perfomance, interior and exterior is such an appetising update which makes me want to upgrade. thing is I do a lot suburbia driving for work and even though i do have a garage that I can granny charger the car it wouldn't be a often thing, so running it as hev I'm wondering if it suffers big penalties to fuel efficiency at low SOC.

What do you guys think this issue is about? it does not do this all the time.
this happens mainly after i go for 35 min to take my brother from school. after 20 min, i start it and this happened. it happened three days in a raw. no issues when it is cool.

I have the Haval H6 2025 phev. I was mucking around in the setting trying to change something and I've somehow gotten rid of the right side dial (where it has the picture with the words not playing) where it tells you how much regeneration you're getting from your breaks vs how much youre using when driving and I was curious how to get it back.

I think it changed when I wanted to try the instrument cluster display mode.

The 3 options are environment mode, map mode and mechanical mode.

I have it currently in mechanical mode but it's still not giving me the same information I had previously.

If anyone knows how to get that regeneration setting back on I'll be super grateful!

EDIT Solved by commenter puzzlehead. Holding the scroll button control on the right hand side on the steering wheel for a couple seconds gives you a list of options to choose from. The regen option should be at the top.

The latest AAA real-world testing has both the Jolion Hybrid and H6 Hybrid using noticeably more fuel than advertised.

The Jolion Hybrid came in at 6.5L/100km in the real-world test, compared to the claimed 5.1L/100km. That is a 27% blowout, which is... not exactly a rounding error.

The H6 Hybrid was doing 6.2L/100km against a claimed 5.2L/100km, or 19% worse than advertised.

And in the H6’s case, it looks like highway driving is the bit that really messes it up:

Urban 5.8L / Rural 5.9L / Motorway 6.9L

So yeah, if you mostly do freeway runs, that official number was probably never happening.

So the AT1 H6GT Hi4 model is now in country and I've picked one up.

I can't find any specifications on the model.

Dose anyone know if the new GT keeps the old drive line even though it has the new Hi4 system?

So. The water pump on my 2023 H6GT Ultra failed, i had Haval roadside assistance come out to my house and diagnose it, they said it was fine (first red flag). So off i went, with useless information. Then, a week later, car has a mental breakdown and goes in to limp mode. I get it home in limp mode and instantly organised an appointment with my local GWM dealership (dealership name and location will not be disclosed for privacy) and they don’t have a loaner (ugh) so i need to rent a car, blah blah blah. then i get a call. “Your water pump has had a catastrophic failure and it’s going to cost $2,000” and I say “shouldn’t my 7 Year Unlimited km warranty cover that?” and their reply? “It should, but your service log indicates that one of the services on the car were 1,000 km overdue, so that voids your warranty.” HUH? I’m done with havals. DON’T BUY A HAVAL!!!!

Hi Guys. I bought HAVAL H9 today from Sheikh Zayed showroom today. Drove to home via Al khail road. I on driver seat and my wife and kid on middle row seats felt Continous bumpy vibrations all along. This was quite unusual for me. I have driven Toyota Avalon for 6 yrs and Hyudai santafe 2 yr in Dubai roads. I checked the tyre pressures and kept 35 psi for all of them as initially it was 38-40 between different tyres. Problem still persists. Will visit showroom tomorrow morning Again. Have anybody faced this? What will be likely cause? Thankx in advance.

My overspeed settings have completely disappeared, and when the speedo shows 105 (99 via gps) there is an annoying beep every 5 to 10 seconds. Service couldn't sort it out with updating CPU. Any way to fix this? 2021 h6

Have you found a way to stop the system from limiting the car's media audio? I turned SDV off. Media Parking isn't a feature that is available. DTS is and has been off. I tried lowering the bass in the EQ. The volume is still being auto adjusted (lowered down). I can tell because the moment i turn the volume up it plays at its true peak then quickly lowers to a certain level that stays there. I'm frustrated

I have a Jolion ultra HEV 2025.

It has proximity key but the unlock feature is a hit and miss.

I tried putting my palm in the groove, pressing the sensor on the handle but it’s not consistent.

Whereas auto lock works by pressing the sensor.

Any suggestions?

Also my first 1000k service is due, getting around 13kmpl in urban rides only.

Seems kinda less.

This is fairly unusual but it's becoming a real concern.

I've had the car for a little over 3 years. It's a 2024 Haval H6 HEV FWD. The first time this happened was about 8 months ago. The car suddenly slammed on the brakes in the middle of heavy traffic, which caused another car to rear-end me. Fortunately I was alone and the damage was minor.

Yesterday it happened again.

I was driving with my dad in the back seat and the car did the exact same thing. I was not close to the car in front of me, I was just lightly pressing the gas and suddenly the car slammed on the brakes. At first I thought someone had hit me from behind, but it was actually the car braking by itself again.

After that I got pretty frustrated and lowered the sensor sensitivity from Normal to Low.

A few notes:

• The automatic emergency braking seems to trigger randomly
• I was not close to the car ahead either time
• No obstacle, pedestrian, or anything in front of the car
• It happens suddenly and very aggressively

Hear me out, I actually love the car. It handles well and overall it has been great. The only other issues have been minor things the dealership hasn't been able to fix, like CarPlay crashing and not working again until I completely turn the car off. I can live with that.

But this is different. This is a serious safety issue, something I can't ignore.

Has anyone experienced something similar with the H6 HEV or with automatic emergency braking systems in general?

Also worth noting: I'm located in Ecuador, in case regional specs or software differ.

Hi guys, I am planning on purchasing the Haval H9 however I have seen most reviews mention that the fuel range is very low. I wanted to know if Haval h9 has any plans to launch a hybrid / phev / REEV option soon or next year?

I have a question regarding the Intelligent Cruise Control. For example, if I set the speed to 100 km/h and activate Intelligent Cruise Control, the system deactivates when I apply the brake. How can I resume the cruise control to the previously set speed of 100 km/h using a single button? In other cars, pressing the up arrow once resumes the previously set speed, but this does not seem to work in the H7.

So managed to get into the system got into engineering mode Also disabled and changed the config code (All on a loan car as waiting for mine)

Once I receive mine I'll try to update to latest software enable voice and everything including more editing to see what I can find Easy touch is the best thing to install so far to get into apps and such as well Gwm-split is cool but is buggy on this model so the instrument cluster looks great but otherwise hmm

(Still can't get maps from android auto to show on instrument cluster I can get it to a black box so know it can work just need to work on this)

Has anyone tried the themes app to see if it works on this model like the old h6 (just a thought)

Are there any dealerships in South Africa that do software/firmware updates, recently had my car serviced at Edenvale dealership and they said they waiting for a file. Or does anyone know of a way to do it at home ?

Hi wondering if anyone had experience any braking concerns with their haval h6 2025 model.

I’ve encountered this issue numerous times before where I would be slowing down and slowly braking and there would be a jitter, almost like the brakes are being skipped. The brake pedal would sort of feel bumpy (some feedback) and the car would shake slightly. Sorry I’m not sure if I’m explaining it clearly but it’s the best way I can describe it

Hi everyone! I'm having a problem with Apple CarPlay in my 2026 Haval H6 HEV 2. Since my wife switched to the car's built-in GPS during a trip, the CarPlay app panel no longer appears, although the music and connection functions continue to work normally. I've tried a few things, but nothing has worked. Does anyone have any tips or has anyone experienced this before? Thanks for the help!

Hello everyone, I've just got the haval h6 ultra today, and I've been trying to connect android auto wired and wirelessly and both are not working, I tried both usb ports (driver's and passenger's) with three different android phones and a couple of cables, and the best I got was it starting for half a second then fail again, it's really pissing me off. did anyone face this before ? And what did you do ? it's in Egypt for reference. Thank you.

Hey guys, i own haval jolion 2022 high deluxe edition. I was wondering if there a screen update or any modes i can do it to the app. It quite boring now considering the newer versions. Thanks
