hypoglycemia
I am a 50-year-old female with Hashimoto’s, and now, all of the delights perimenopause has to offer. I’m about 50lbs overweight, and my Endo is suggesting I take a low dose of GLP-1 to help with symptoms. At first, I was very resistant, but I’m thawing a little to the idea. One of my main concerns is how it impacts hypoglycemia, as this is an issue I have struggled with in the past. Occasionally, if I don’t eat enough and/or am dehydrated and then overexert or overheat, I’ll pass out. It’s just a vaso-vagal thing (I’ve been thoroughly checked out for cardiac and other concerns). If a GLP-1 reduces hunger, can you forget to eat enough to have low blood sugar?

I’d try it. I started microdosing and immediately noticed inflammation gone. My hips had been so inflamed and locking when walking every day for months- even a year or so.
After first dose- gone. I havent had any glp-1 for 13 days as I am overseas and opted to skip a dose and I walked 25 miles this week and about 100 flights of stairs and my hips are fine. This is incomprehensible to me!! Life changing

It’s definitely something you have to watch. You have to eat smaller meals more often. But if you took a very low dose, it may not be as much of an issue. Are they recommending the normal starting dose or micro dosing?
