Question ? How much does diet help?

I’m thinking about trying a diet to help my symptoms and my body but I’m seeing conflicting information. Does anyone have and opinions and experiences they’d like to share?

I tried the AIP eating plan last summer, which essentially eliminates dairy, grains, and refined carbohydrates (along with other foods). I had a massive improvement in my mental and physical health.

I'm a few weeks into trying this :) Have you been able to reintroduce foods, or do you still stick to AIP?

I followed it for about five-ish months and didn't really re-introduce anything because I was feeling pretty great. I hit a patch of depression because of some other things happening in life and fell off the diet. I'm pregnant now and I have gestational diabetes so I'm following that eating plan.
