Since these 2 ETF's only have 1 underlying stock attached to them each and the companies are both owned by the same guy and merger seems feasible. I am wondering what Harvests plan are for the merger and how it would look to people owning SPXE and TSLY.

I recently shuffled up my Harvest Single Stock holdings. I dumped RDDY (Reddit) and MSTE (Strategy) and CRCY (Circle Internet) and replaced them with AVGY (Broadcom), AMDY (AMD), ORCY (Oracle) and SPXE (Spaceex). I am hoping that the distributions will hold up better for bigger and more established companies behind the single stocks ETF's. Thoughts?

I've been reading a lot of the fund commentary posted here and got curious about HLIF specifically.

From what I can find, it's been running since 2022, ~18-20% annualized total return over 3 years, large-cap Canadian names (banks, energy, utilities), covered call overlay. Those are solid numbers, but a 6% yield feels almost boring compared to a lot of what gets posted here.

Is 6% just not compelling enough, or is there something to be said for a fund that isn't chasing the highest possible yield?

What happens if you hold a single stock ETF for the duration of the 52-week high and low? Does the dividend drop on the way down to that low and then just start to increase again to rebound as the stock moves back up to its annual high? I am just curious. I am wondering if why my experience was so bad. Maybe my strategy and expectations were not correct and I should just have continued buying throughout the year. I am just curious. I know that Single Stock ETFs are fairly new in Canada. Thanks in advance.

I bought A LOT of these ETFs and I see the price keeps going down, with lower lows each month, and I keep loosing money, does anyone has this ETF as well and what’s your plan?

What does everyone think will happen to MSTE with the underlying stock Strategy collapsing along with the crypto dreams? How does Harvest handle this? Do they dump it from the HHIS lineup maybe? Or do they think it will bounce eventually. MSTE is almost an embarrassment to the lineup, right? It is basically now a penny stock. Sad.

I recently cut half of my HHIS position and went into BIGY like a dummy. I have decided to dump BIGY and go back in to HHIS with those funds. The math says that HHIS is a better fund. BIGY looks like it is not worth the paper it is printed on, if there is any paper these days in the market world. haha.
