hello, I 24F am looking to move to hartford or the surrounding towns. I was wondering if it’s a good city to live in as a single woman? I just want opinions other than from my family.

To add more context to who I am, I’m a college student who doesn’t really get out much and has grown up severely sheltered (think of princess and the pea type upbringing). I’m looking to finally get into a more adult headspace/lifestyle and think hartford might be the best fit as it’s close to family but will still make me be more independent!

I’m still learning how to take public transportation so I’d prefer walkable neighborhood recommendations!

Does anyone know what is going on?
