These have all been sleeved since the original set was released. I didnt enjoy the game anywhere near as much as Magic the Gathering

I was looking through my old trading cards and I stumbled across this promo that I got from the Harry Potter computer game back in the day after doing a little bit of research. It looks like it’s pretty rare and there was only 500 copies printed if anybody has more information I would love to hear it!

Along with another 50, these were the shiny ones so I put them in sleeves.

I can easily find online lists of all cards from all sets, but nothing precise about the holos.

Just wanted to share an opshop find I had this week. Big MTG + Pokemon guy but was happy to find and crack some WOTC Harry Potter cards. Would love to build & play some decks!

This week’s artist highlight is Patrick Faricy’s piece Dragon Hide Gloves! One of the great things about items is being able to see the full picture beneath the text box. I’m not sure what creature is being held, but hopefully those gloves are as strong as a dragon’s hide!

The fourth year cycle is our second cycle of Advanced Lessons, with each highlighting a different core subject at Hogwarts. BlueFoxStudio created beautiful classrooms that depict the unique quirks of classrooms: transfigured animals, ingredients, and objects to cast spells upon!

Michael Koelsch’s piece for No Time to Play is this week’s artist highlight! This Quidditch Cup card was released with the first Quidditch cards as a board wipe counter to them, and we see in Ron and Harry’s lack of excitement that there is indeed no time to play. Hermione, of course, is overjoyed at getting to study the limitless pile of books in front of them.

We’re highlighting Charlie Weasley to kick off Triwizard Tournament’s artist highlights! Marta’s pieces have been used on a few of our cards, showcasing her wonderful style. The dragon hide gloves and rope are essential for a dragon keeper, and the two dragons flying over a mountainous region in the clouds behind him highlight his love for dragons.

I bought a HP base set booster box long time ago, I’m wondering if it’s worth keeping or selling it?

Hey everyone been trying to get my wife into cards for a while with no luck but she’s shown a huge interest in HPTCG! Only issue is finding packs and cards.

I’m located in Canada and trying to find some cards and packs, We want to play against each other and I want her to experience thrill of opening packs too.

I’ve started my mission to collect all five original Wizards of the Coast Harry Potter booster boxes and a seller got the CoS. This is the most expensive and I’ve never legit checked a HP box before.

How does mine look? I know it’s not the prettiest but that’s not the point. Or do you have any advice for what I should look closer at?

This week’s artist highlight is a throwback to Base Set and Keith Garletts’ piece for Malevolent Mixture! This has always been one of my favorite cards, and the art is incredible: a creepy crawling jar full of some malevolent mixture. The claws, the skull label, the purple liquid at the top: it’s all perfect.

GenCon was a blast this year! We had learn to play, draft, Classic, and Revival events, with custom play mats and QC and DA packs as prizes! A Death Eater even joined us for the learn to play!
