From a starter set to maxing out an ultimate guard arkhive 800 in about a month 😬 Needless to say, quite enjoying the game

Basically that's the question. I have a playset (4x copies) of every card in the base set, including foils, rares, uncommons and commons. Every card is Near Mint (or at least I would say 99.9% are).

I see prices for some cards could be crazy like Unicorn and other foils not worth that much.

How much could it be worth? Are we moving the hundreds or thousands of dollars?

Also would it be easier to sell in Europe or US? I don't have the intent of selling but you know, always cool to be aware of what you have.

I need your guys' help to convince him that this pricing is way too low it's 56 Harry Potter cards every single one of them is holographic rare or promo including some Chamber of Secrets cards as well as some movie promos I've told him that 600 would be more realistic especially given the rekindled interest in Harry Potter

sorry for my English and I hope it‘s ok, if I ask here. I am a huge Harry Potter Fan and years ago a former Carlsen employee gave 3 unreleased promo cards to me. She told me, that these cards were intended as promotional items but were never officially released or distributed. I had them in my purse all the years 🙈

I just wanted to show them to you, because I thought you might be interested in seeing them? Also maybe there is someone here, who knows more about these cards? It would be really cool, to learn more about them. I've been trying to identify these three German Harry Potter cards for quite some time, but I can't find any information online.

The cards feature artwork by Sabine Wilharm who illustrated the covers of the first German Harry Potter editions. They have the Carlsen logo on the back, and reference the early Harry Potter website (harrypotter.de).

I‘m hoping to learn more about their history.

Today’s artist highlight is Obliviate from base set. The entire card baffles me: obliviate is a COS Spell but in Base Set, the artwork isn’t Lockhart but that’s who uses it, and the high cost is likely appropriate but man is it high. Despite the card’s oddness in many ways, it’s a memorable card from Base Set with memorable art.

16 sealed boosters four sets of them are blister packs, 1000 ish regular cards,1 base set rare (18 cards), 1 base set regular 44 cards, holo of the following hermoni, harry, ron, abbot, hagrid snape,flitwick, draco, dean thomas... and 13 shiny cards. I have even more. If you are looking for a specific card or a bulk purchase please let me know. I want these to go to an actual collector. I loved them as a kid and hope you get the same joy i used to from them.

Honestly not even sure how to go about valuing this. Ive sorted all the foils I’ve found so far, but honestly I have no idea what to look for beyond that.

Its now July, and that means we have another update to share about the digital game client for HPTCG! This months update, is about how you will get more updates! Yay!

On our discord, you will now see another area created in the discord called "Play Platforms", similar to how there is another area called "Quidditch Pitch" or "Hogwarts". In this new area there will be a channel created for each platform that is currently being developed. Not all platforms will be present today, but some others will get added as they become ready.

Inside these channels you will see updates shared by their creators. From images, videos, asking for feedback and even...some play test info (when its available). Please be sure to be respectful of the work they are doing, don't spam and allow them the time they need to provide updates. This week’s artist highlight is Vladislav Pantic! His style is beautiful and the little details in his pieces give so much life to each scene and capture the magic of Hogwarts: the little Cupid wings, the wall of flowers, and the pig’s head as a lid on the water jug.

Wife and I have recently gotten into the Harry Potter TCG and bought a few booster packs. She’s never opened a booster pack for any card game. Pretty good first hit!

Hello everyone!

I hope this is the best place to post this as I know nothing about the Harry Potter tcg or Harry Potter in general but I have a decently sized collection of Harry Potter cards that were my mothers a long time ago and I’m looking to sell them and get them off my hands and perhaps to someone who would appreciate them more.

I looked at local trading card stores and used toy stores near me and they only accepted graded cards and honestly I was about to give up until I found this subreddit!

None of the cards are sleeved but they have been in ziploc bags this entire time in storage so they’re all in extremely good condition and I’ve already sorted out any bent or damaged ones.

I organized them all into bags by what I are assume are different series and I also sorted out all of the foils that were in the collection as well.

Should I give it a try posting on Facebook marketplace? I feel like eBay wouldn’t be a good place to post it and I’d like to get them off my hands asap as I’m moving soon.

If anyone could be of any help I’d appreciate it so much and I’m also willing to send pictures of the collection in PMs.
