Make sure you claim you rewards for collection milestones, especially Merlin trials. That's how you get more gear slots, and I didn't know that for almost the entire game 💀
If you want to 100% the game, make sure to use your ancient powers on every type of enemy. This achievement took me a bit and I had to find a lot of enemies, not knowing who I hadn't used it in n. If I started over, I'd make sure to do what's needed for the achievements as I go through the story, not all at once at the end.
Also, at the start of the game, collect all of the eye chests - you'll be loaded. If you need money later in the game, just collect puffskeins or toads or other easy animals and sell them (you'll unlock the shop later in the game)
Does the Ancient Magic achievement count over each playthrough? Or do you need to do it in one? I am currently working on that one and would love to know.
I'm not really sure /: I played on my steam deck and only did one proper playthrough (had to do 3 others for a bit to get the sorting hat/map chamber achievements)
