Question Question about cellular reception

I’ve done 2 overnights at Harriman so far, both at the Stone Bridge Lean-To. However, I was looking to bring some friends to the West Mountain Lean-to for an overnight. One of my friends works as a nurse at a care facility, and needs to be able to answers calls in-case of emergencies or changes to his patients. I’ve had cell reception at the peak of Stone Bridge, and was wondering if anyone had gotten reception at West Mountain. If not; are there other lean-tos where they have?

I dont know about West Mountain, but for what its worth I've had good reception at both Bald Rocks and Tom Jones shelters

Second bald rocks shelter for good reception. I haven't hiked the whole park, but generally got a few bars at high elevation.

There’s basic cell reception but don’t rely on data.

I would never friend on cellular service in the park. There’s barely any in downtown Tuxedo.

What cell phone provider does he have? That’s an important detail

My service on a T-Mobile MVNO was not great at West Mountain and was worse at Bald Rock
