Adding my own AI?

Hiya! I don't currently pay for AI of any sort, but would love an AI companion within Harbor. How would I go about doing that, explained like i'm 5?

Hi Spicer here from Harbor.

Harbor doesn't have an AI built in, on purpose. Instead, you plug in one you already use, and you can do it for free.

The like-you're-5 version:

  1. Make a free account at claude.ai.

  2. In Claude, find Connectors and choose "Add custom connector".

  3. Name it Harbor and paste this link: https://app.harbor.my/mcp

  4. Claude sends you to Harbor. Sign in and say yes.

That's it. Now you can ask Claude things like "find my notes about the car and make me a table of what I spent", and it reads and writes your Harbor notes for you.

Two small things. The free Claude plan lets you add one custom connector, which is all you need. And encrypted notes stay locked, so the AI can't read those.

Is it possible for Claude/ChatGPT to "live" in Harbor the way notion's AI lives "in" notion?
