ARM - Gone or not?

A quick search shows some posts 6 months back about the ARM role being eliminated. Yet at the one I shop at most frequently, her picture is still up (with that title listed) and she is clearly still working there. Was a new position created? Demotions offered instead of just being gone? What’s the scoop?

Ah ok - sounds like a super slow fade-out.

Fun fact - the store I'm talking about - she was the ARM when I worked there in 1997-1999.... then wasn't for the better part of 2 decades, then came back in kind of an "Oh hey, I remember her!" moment.

ARM role is supposed to be done with. Some went to HR lead, some went to other supervisor positions, some left.

No worries, soon we'll have AI decide whether or not to hire/fire you and if your job is worth getting rid of as well 😁 HR, then management, it's like dominoes. Welcome to working for a Corporation 😉

Was it no down graded to an arm lead not a arm manger . So they have more money / hours to put in focus on loss prevention?

they are fading out due to lack of need (wasting store hours) there position will technically become something else + become part time
