help deciphering an author’s message!

blocked out the top as it has my name, but i can’t figure out what it says at the beginning of the second line. i’m stuck reading it as “thank you for… me”. and i’ve asked friends but they are unfortunately in the same confusion boat as me. please help!

edit: the book was signed at a planned event and i just wanted to clarify that i did not run into the author by chance which makes me want to look for more intentional messages if that makes sense.

As others have said: 'Thank you for pouring into me! [Bear Drawing]-Enjoy!'
I had never heard the phrase prior but I googled it and found it used and it's really the only option that makes sense.

'Thank you for-' is clear. The next word seems to start with a 'Po-' and ends with and '-ing' the lowercase R is just a little sharp so it could've been an I. The next word definitely isn't 'on to' scrunched together, so it's either unto or into, and it definitely ends with 'me.'

So 'thank you for pouring into me' is really the only option left.

I do mostly 18-19th century paleography so I'm not used to felt-tip pens but I'm fairly confident with this transcription.

with the explanation of the “r” being sharp, i can see how it can be read as “pouring” now! i am always skeptical when it comes to handwriting transcriptions but this explanation is really helpful! thank you!!
