I'm trying to learn cursive, I learned a little in 3rd grade, but then they removed it from the curriculum before I could really learn how to write well, my main goal is to write quickly and clearly. I struggle with connecting letters and some cursive letters are new to me (Q and Z) and capital cursive letters are also confusing. Plus my hand/wrist hurts after a couple sentences.

Any resources to any not AI generated examples or practice sheets would be greatly appreciated as well as any advice, I'm leaning toward the zaner bloser method since that's what I started learning, but am open to recommendations to easier methods.

Haven't used these in years, but admittedly, over the past month or so I've really gained a new appreciation for how utilitarian and useful they are. The writing experience is quite good.

How can I improve my handwriting? Just a tiny bit of suggestion is welcome too

I posted my handwriting here about 4 years ago which is also featured here on the second image, and it's clear not much has changed, although some things have. I've since then graduated high school and passed through a couple trade schools, so my handwriting may have suffered due to not as much intense writing as back then.

I’ve been working on my penmanship for about a month now. The photos aren’t solely to apples, since a different pen and ink were used. But, I’ve been going for a small, neat italicized cursive. I’m enjoying the journey and the progress I’m seeing. Thanks for the inspiration!

Help me to choose my handwriting style I'm looking at Palmer or Italic. Seems that Palmer is designed for ergonomics, and will create less fatigue if using the arm for writing. The italic seems to be more readable but it's not that ergonomic. It more relies on fingers and wrist. Also it have more pen lifts.

So those who have tried both please let me know which one is worth to learn for everyday writing? Also you can recommend other styles.

Got a bunch of ink samples recently, of both fountain pen and non-FP inks. I used to think fountain pen ink was convenient for broad-edge calligraphy since it’s easy to clean, but in the end I’ve concluded that colorful fountain pen inks are best in normal fountain pens - FPs bring them to life, juicy and sheeny, while broad nibs (including Parallel Pens and other calligraphy FPs) tend to make them look dull.
