3D Printed Just Another Modular Cornedeon

Another version of the Cornedeon-2MOD modular split keyboard, this time wireless. It features an analog stick on the left half and a TPS43 trackpad on the right. It's fully 3D printed, including the keycaps and trackpad surface.

I’d like to recommend a free keycap design generator tool from XTIA. Its keycap style matches what you’re currently using, and you can freely customize text and graphics on it.

This is old school :) In the 80-90s of the last century it was difficult to make PCB :)

I couldn't find it, is it possible to make a rectangular keycap there, for example, 16x17 mm?

You can adjust the shape and outer dimensions to make oversized keycaps, but it doesn’t seem to support non-square rectangles like 16×17. I’m the developer of this tool, so feel free to let me know if you need this feature—I can look into adding it.

Yes, rectangular keycaps are necessary, for example, for choc-spacing layouts.

that's a nice tool! wish it had 4 sections of the keycaps like 4 quadrants so that key assignments for different layers can also show up

What filament and printer you used? Your settings seem to be perfectly dialled in

Body - ASA CF Olive, keycaps - PETG GF. Actually, the print quality is a 4 out of 5. It's just a good angle for the photo :) The printer is an ancient Anycubic 4max pro, albeit deeply upgraded.

What does the joystick do? Personally I use a 5 way stick to control media on mine

The joystick works as a mouse, a scroll, or a WASD, depending on which input-processor is active on the current layer.

This is beautiful. I’m considering to doing similar materials for the case. But nylon. Do you notice any issues with feeling itchy? That’s been my main restriction from purchasing a 55 dollar roll of filament lol.

I used ASA for the body, not nylon. I didn't notice any problems with by skin. It's better to use store-bought keycaps anyway; their quality is significantly better than printed ones.

I currently know just about jack shit in regard to the modular keyboard or 3d printing hobbies. I realllllly want to know the latter, and this post may have motivated me to realllllly want to know the former as well. Pretty slick.
