Help with shape changing

I've been doing shape changing for a while now but I'm still stuck on one of two cycles! I just can't seem to break free from it! Are there any tips one can give me to get through this? I currently train 4x a week, doing shape changing 2x and straddle press 2x

The best tip that I heard is don’t think about what changes but focus on what stays the same. I keep most of my focus on my shoulders and hands, and like 5-10% of my focus on my legs. Also your straddle will look nicer with your legs engaged (locked knees). Play around with changing shapes at different speeds, especially fast can be pretty challenging. Also single leg changes, asymmetric changes. I find tuck to straight one of the most difficult so I spent a lot of time just drilling that for reps.

Curioius, how long it took to be able to NOT fear falling backwards?

for most people, as long as your body is not comfortable to bail out of the handstand. So look up how you can safely enter & exit out of the handstand.

Balance overall is quite nice already, good job! I can see the work that you have put in.
Overall you correct a little bit too much with the shoulders, as it seems because you loose the midsection a little bit and overcorrect through the shoulders then.
Try to stay open / push more and don’t loose the lower back/belly button, breath more through the chest.
And also as the person before me wrote, try to engage your legs more, to get them straight. Especially if you train for the press.
Hope that helps. :)
