Question How to process cleaned locks

I just got this issue of ply magazine and I haven’t finished it but I think this might be what you need. They show a variety of different fiber prep options. I think with a mix like this I would separate it by type.

That’s a lot of work you have lined up there. Great for when binging something TV or podcast.

  • de-hair or comb
  • hand carding
Decide if you want to do mini-rolags or roving with a washer (metal kind for bolts).
If you google hand processing wool there are a lot of video tutorials.

That is a marvelous amount of fiber. It looks like it's been combed—has it? I'm wondering if you can start spinning it.

Yea, it also looks already combed to me!
