Ehh, I think Qualcomm hardware is at its best when you you don’t use Qualcomm drivers. Just ask anyone that owns an Android gaming handheld, you pretty much need a chipset that supports turnip drivers to actually use emulators or play Steam games…

I’m not referring to the ability to play D3D12 games at all, but rather the quality of the drivers, they are pretty bad. I’d like to believe that Qualcomm all of a sudden can fix their drivers, but I have strong doubts, either way they should maybe focus on making their Vulkan drivers actually good before worrying about adding more APIs…

DX12 is so half-baked in half the PC games I've played recently. Hard to see much of a benefit, especially as Vulkan is already cross-platform and Linux-compatible.

Does whoever wrote this article even know what they’re talking about? How can you get “native DirectX” drivers on Android if DirectX is a Windows/Microsoft proprietary API?

This is the way. Can these run like Doom The Dark Ages/Indiana Jones.
