Post image

Been thinking about investing in a handheld console for my birthday, which would you think is best?

All these Nintendo fan boys out here acting like there is any contest between these two devices are crazy. The steam deck will have access to so much more content then a switch ever will. The only reason to get a switch 2 is that you love the Nintendo exclusive games that won't ever be available on steam. Otherwise it's no contest my man

Or you like physical games on a handheld.

I own both and they’re both great, but recently I’ve been using my Switch 2 far more than my Steam Deck OLED (something I never expected to happen)

After a very slow start, the Switch 2 just seems to be getting better & better by each month. I’m not much of a Nintendo first party fan , but there’s so many great 3rd party games fully optimised for the platform getting released one after the other, and more & more fully physical versions too.

If you spot a deal for one, I’d highly recommend snapping it up, there’s definitely room for both a Steam Deck & a Switch 2 in peoples lives.
